"The home was absolutely perfect, better than we ever expected! It was sparkling clean, and smelled better inside than any home I’ve ever walked into. There was ample room for a large group. Room to spread out but also room to gather- we loved the large dining table big enough for all 12 of us to sit and eat together! The location couldn’t be better. A short walk down to the water where you can swim or fish, plus a playground for kids. It was about a 20 minute drive to a larger grocery store.The property is truly gorgeous. We saw a large herd of deer in the yard every day while we were there. There is a private putting green, multiple fire pits, a nice grill. We lacked nothing that we could have needed while we were here."

"We stayed at Woodsong cabin in Sept. It is an adorable A-Frame cabin, with large screened in porch where you can relax, eat and even watch Tv. It has large wrap around open deck area plus lower covered deck with sitting area, table top firepit and hot tub. The cabin is clean and beautifully furnished. Kitchen and bathrooms are all updated. It was just a short drive to several parks, restaurants, marinas, waterfalls, and shopping. Smithville and Center Hill Lake is a great place to relax and unwind. We had delicious pizza from Singer's Landing in town. We enjoyed drinks and listening to band outside on Saturday night at Twisted Oaks.We had Sunday brunch at DelMonaco Winery which I would definitely recommend. We enjoyed drinks at sunset at Hurricane Marina's Twisted Oar. It's a good thing we hiked a lot to work off all those calories. We visited Spirit Valley for horseback riding which was awesome! We will definitely come back!"

"This property was so fun to stay at! The hot tub right off the main level was so convenient to hop in, and since its high off the ground there were actually no bugs or mosquitos even at night! The swim spa is a short walk down a super steep hill driveway to get to, but once there it's hard to leave and make the climb back to the house because its soooo nice! The shared "beach" area is so cool but there's a ton of broken bottles on it so we had to wear swim shoes to dip our feet in the lake there. Its very pretty though and gives a nice secluded view of the boats going past while sitting on shaded rocks. The kitchen has the best pots and pans ever, even a griddle for pancakes! Dishwasher was very nice to have. Bring baggies/tupperware if you are cooking for your leftovers, or use the stuff they have to cover up your plate (foil, plastic wrap). The decor is super cute. There is a neighboring house across the street and one next door, which made it feel like they could watch us walk around in our bathing suits, but they were quiet neighbors for sure. We loved Burgess Falls nearby for a short hike with lots of stairs--go early (opens at 8am) or miss out on easy parking ;) thanks for a great stay! "

"We love this neighborhood. The view of the lake is beautiful. We love the community pool. The house was perfect for my family gathering. We were all able to have a very nice bedroom. The kids loft and play area was so fun. I will stay again."

"Customer service by Elisha was excellent! Before arrival, she sent me an email to check on my status as I was unreachable on my non-US number and needed to confirm on my reservation. The place is so tranquil; upon arrival, I immediately extended for another night, knowing that I would enjoy the peace and quiet. There were a few guests around, and we all had our own spaces - I went on my runs around the compound while others had their activities. The kitchen was self sufficient - I could cook simple meals with the appliances provided. The bed was so comfortable - my watch measured that as my best sleep in months. All the information & recommendations were written down so it was easy to navigate around the area to places close by. Tried Rose Garden Restaurant for dinner as recommended and it did not disappoint. Drove to Smithville downtown and spent half a day chatting with the local store owners/residents. Also did a 3hrs kayak with Canoe the Caney nearby and had an easy day out. There is no lack of activities if one wishes to do. Overall, the place provided the serenity I was looking for before heading back to city life. Very glad to have found this place!"

"We enjoyed our overnight stay at the house. It was clean and just as described. Enjoyed food at the Hurricane Marina and fished near by. I appreciated K cups being available in the morning so I could drink my coffee with a view!"
