I was disappointed; the hotel in California lacked shampoo and body wash, and the elevator was broken. The hotel felt damp and the air was very stuffy, though the staff were very polite.

Stayed for Surf City 10. Huntington pier is a decent 15 min drive from here. The say was fine. AC is cold, charger port by bed. Elevator didn’t work so couldn’t give 5 stars for overall maintenance. Rooms were fine. Room extras like hand soaps, bath soaps were the bare minimum though (little bars, no body wash). Bring own toiletries. Bring ur own paper towels, utensils etc to take full advantage of the kitchenette.

The elevator broken. Smelled like dog or cat urine. Old rooms. Dirty overall. Breakfast is literally coffee and bagged muffins. Lots of long term folks that are sketchy. Overall. Not worth the money. Not even close.

Friendly front desk staff. Easy check in. The hotel has clearly seen better days as all the furniture is quite worn down (chips, cracks, etc) and the hallways have many stains. Some of this may be the norm for a pet friendly hotel. Bigger issue was the common areas being quite dirty (side entrances), multiple signs of breakdowns (elevator, side entrance card swipes etc) and some pretty sketchy folks lurking around the parking lot (including somebody leaving a note on my husband’s car that was a shakedown for money). Just felt uneasy so we only stayed 1/2 nights.

I recently stayed at Extended Stay America Suites in Huntington Beach, and overall, it was a satisfactory experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious, with basic amenities that made my stay comfortable. I appreciated the kitchenette, which allowed me to prepare my own meals, adding convenience during my visit. The location is excellent, close to Huntington Beach and other local attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The hotel offered free Wi-Fi, which was reliable, and the parking was ample and convenient.

My room floor was so sticky, my socks stuck to floor. One reason I booked was because property stated "breakfast included". Coffee and muffins were provided. Very sketchy permanent tenants reside there as well. Not recommended for any family.
