Chestnut Street Retreat

A quaint and friendly neighborhood, with large backyard for kids playing or relaxing in the breeze way with morning coffee. Biking or walking around the neighborhood is safe and fun on a sunny day. Though you may feel in the country you are very close to downtown Huntingburg, 8 miles to Downtown Jasper. House is cozy and relaxing for a weekend away or if you're looking for activities Holiday World (18 Miles), Patoka Lake, French Lick Casino & West Baden Hotel (27 Miles).
The space
No smoking permitted inside and pets are not allowed. 2 twin air mattresses, Pack N Play, and high chair are available upon request. Sheets and towels are provided for all beds and guest. Access to washer and dryer in basement is available. 2 Adult bikes and 3 small children bikes are in garage.

Wonderful house close to Holiday World

This was a delightful home very close to Holiday World. It was very clean, spacious, and perfect for our vacation. Check in and check out was very easy and the renters were great with communication.

Huntingburg house

It was a beautiful home to rent for the week. Made us feel like it was our home. The kids loved playing downstairs with toys and riding the bikes. We will definitely look for this house to rent again.

Very nice 3 bedroom house!

Very clean and a great location. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to prepare meals. The furniture was comfortable and the tv looked brand new.

Weekend stay

We came into town for the Red, White, and Brauen concert and booked this house to stay in. It was perfect for our needs. It was like going to grandma’s house! It was very clean, in a nice quiet neighborhood, and had comfortable beds. All we really used the property for was sleeping and bathing (always had plenty of hot water).

Perfect place to stay in Huntingburg

Family Fun

This was the perfect stay for our family of five. It was nice to have somewhere to come "home" and get comfy after a long day at Holiday World. The home was very tidy and had everything we could need. There is also a good selection of restaurants nearby, perfect for Door Dashing a quick and easy dinner.

We loved this beautiful little house. It was perfect for my big family. There are three bedrooms, and there were books, toys and coloring books and crayons in the closet of one room. A playpen and highchair were also there. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, pots/pans, and other appliances you might need (or want), ie a blender, a crockpot, there was even several cookbooks. It’s a great place in a nice quiet neighborhood.

The place had everything a place would need and then some. Quiet and cozy. Kids really enjoyed playing in the basement and there are some local stores and food areas. Highly recommend.
