「We were charged an additional $5 at check in for amenities. Not a big deal but…there was no breakfast food at 9:40am and the gal was mopping the breakfast area closing it up and was rude when I asked if more food would be brought out. If you are going to start to charge additional for your amenities, at least have them available. Not cool Holiday Inn. Not cool. 」

「Very beautiful place, would come back again, all rooms looked amazing and clean, loved the sun room, very beautiful views, the kitchen was amazing they had everything you could possibly need to cook. I just felt so at home and very peaceful」

「Everything was very clean and comfortable. The blanket on the couch was a welcome touch. I actually fell asleep on the couch and never made it to the bed. 」

「The renovations done to this house have made it an absolutely wonderful getaway up north. The finishes and furnishings are perfect. We stayed for a long weekend with two families very comfortably. Kudos to the hosts, this was a wonderful place and we’d be happy to come back again!」

「Futon room has been upgraded to a double or queen bed. Only stayed one night but the house seemed well equipped for a longer stay. One bathroom was, near all 3 bedrooms. The other was on the other side of the house, away from the bedrooms, but greatly appreciate having 2 full bathrooms available. Front door lock was a little finicky but worked well once we understood how it worked. All bedrooms had TVs. Large dining table. Comfy living room. Thank you」

「This house was the perfect getaway destination for someone who was just looking for a rest from busy life. Walking out the back door onto the beach, feeling the breeze, and listening to the waves was beyond peaceful. The house was beautiful and had everything we were looking for. Jennie was super responsive to messages and was a great host! I hope to stay again next time I'm in Alpena!」
