Inadequate seating outside. Furniture that was pictured was not there. Only 4 folding academy chairs. Pool did not get warm. Hot tub temp was decent. More pots/pans to cook in were needed. Everything else about the house was decent.

As much as I wanted to LOVE this place, it simply is not lovable. While the pictures show the same things that are in the house, the condition is definitely not the same. It is giving AI for sure. Not sure who the cleaning people are, but they just don't do a good job. There are bugs. There is an offputting smell throughout the house. The pool house stench is horrible! It is unusable. Seems as though it has been flooded. Not to mention the area is QUESTIONABLE at best! I purchased insurance as it was mandatory per the host. Once the stay was over, I received an e-mail from the insurance company stating that the property owner had filed a claim. He listed (2) holes in the wall, damaged blinds, a damaged couch, a door had to be replaced, and a welcome mat was ruined (someone urinated on it). This is ALL fraudulent! There was NO damage done to the house AT ALL. IF someone urinated on a welcome mat outside, that would be the ONLY thing he could caim. And that is a HUGE if! I read the reviews, and a person that stayed there before us said how bad of shape the couch was in. The same exact couch. No way we could have damaged it. DO NOT RENT this place! It is HORRIBLE and for the property owner to file a fraudulent insurance claim is unbelievable.

We came to Houston to celebrate my brothers birthday who had passed away 3 months ago. We were excited about this stay because we were looking forward to having a celebration dinner and just enjoying time with family. Upon arrival to the propertywe realized that the home was not the same as the pictures. The fence was leaning over and was being held up by 2x4s. Once we entered the home we were taken aback by the smell of the home it smelled moldy and of mildew. While walking the home we started seeing spiders and water bugs then we noticed there were multiples holes in the walls . The couch was ripped up it was trash under the beds. Dust was all over the house and the tables in the dining room were covered in a table cloth that was filthy. the house was listed to have 4 bedrooms but it had 3 with a shed outside near the pool. This room was extremely hot. It had signs that the room had flooded and there was mildew and spider eggs around the room. It appears that the room was used for storage as well as a bedroom. It was completely unlivable. The host was communicative but lacked urgency. When we were leaving the home he immediately locked the door and had the cleaning guy there who stated he was there to fix a door and the wall, nothing about the other issues. I have reached out to the host who states that he is still checking with proper personnel. This has been his response since the beginning.The backyard lights that are on the fence did not work and there is no patio set.
