The first problem was the tub had no stopper for a bath. The receptionist said she’d call housekeeping. Never happened. There was no hot water for five days. The pool was closed by the Harris County health department. The gym was permanently closed. Housekeeping changed the towels every day but only made the bed every other day. The tv had a webpage pop up that said I had to join something to watch. I ask the desk clerk. He said “we fix”. Nothing happened. The room was clean and comfortable.

Pictures of this property are so deceiving. Hotel is pet friendly in ALL rooms. There were fleas that bit one of my kids and roaches in rooms. Carpets are filthy, shower curtain was being held by piece of wood. Hotel did not want to do anything about the situation even though we notified them of the incident with in 10min of checking in. Said they could not refund us and there was no supervisor we could talk to.

Trash never stay here again

The main hallway smells like piss and pneumonia on the old carpet. As soon as he try to give me a room on the first floor, when I walked in it smelled like mold. I went to the front desk and asked for a different room or my money back. He moved me to the third floor, the bathroom tub was rusted and peeling. The hot water lasted about five minutes and once I try to inform the guy at the front desk, he said it was new hot water heaters. I couldn’t take a hot shower because the water did not say hot. The room service lady came to the door saying something (hell idk because I only speak English and not Spanish) and I told her to come in but she never came in to clean the room. It’s not fair when they have staff that cannot speak English and this is America and I will not be learning to speak Spanish. (The lobby looks good)

Our go-to stop

We have stayed here several times when we come visit my son and family. It is a great location and easy to get to. The food is decent. The one blemish was the juice machine was out of order throughout our 3 night stay. However, it was being repaired the morning we left.

Although this hotel is located in a wonderful location with a lot of restaurants walking distance, the hotel itself is terrible. The first room I was assigned had no lock on the door. The second room was beyond filthy! Cockroaches in both the bathroom and on the room door, black mold growing on the walls in the bathroom, blood stains on the carpet, and random wet spots on the carpet. Checked out after 3 hours. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

Not to bad but not 5 star either

Very friendly staff, and quiet hotel. The room was clean but they need a little updates in the bathrooms. Also the carpet in the halls needs to be replaced. Wasn’t too impressed with the very small breakfast but it wasn’t too bad either. We’d stay again for a night if needed.

Lobby is nice, updated and clean but get to the rooms and they smell like cigarettes and we killed 2 roaches in our room. We were uneasy about sleeping in the bed but we only stayed one night so we didn’t see the need to throw a fit otherwise i would’ve asked for a refund.

Decent place to stay for the price

Overall a clean hotel and close to all type of restaurants and stores. Someone was smoking and the hallways and elevator smelled like smoke which was horrible for me and our son due to breathing issues. Our room key kept messing up and the air conditioner made this ridiculously loud noise. It’s a nice place to stay if you don’t plan on being in your room long. Oh and the pool was cold and some strange man kept walking around the building trying to get us to tell him where our room was which was very weird (luckily my husband was never more then a few feet away)

Definitely not somewhere you want to stay because you're looking for greaf amenities or a nice hotel. In a pinch, this location helped my family out. It was only for 1 night. It's dirty, it smells bad, and nothing about the property is comforting. I would not recommend.

Room smelled. Property dirty. Carpets stained and in need of replacement. Shower had stains. Window leaked in the rain. Breakfast was less than we expected. The people are trying but they really need to close and renovate. Hallways smelled of incense with a stale weed undertone. Beds were comfortable.

The staff was very polite when I checked in. The hotel room was just ok. The lamp plugs did not work to charge your phone or any other device. The telephone (land line) did not work in the. The door lock latch was broken. Room was by the emergency exit so I propped the desk chair under the door knob for the night.

There was crayon markings all over the wall, the shower was falling apart and peeling, the bathroom door had been kicked in and put back together by what looked like a 12 year old. The ceiling had obvious water damage, carpet very old and dingy. We showered on towels to avoid standing barefoot, and no one took their shoes off on the carpet. Staff very nice though.
