Terrible Host and Location!
I had reserved this place for a month. The day of my reservation I was notified by my work that the location of our job site was switched and I needed to be nearly an hour away, across town. So I reached out to ask the Host if we could just cancel my reservation.
It turned out to be a four or five day event, with numerous calls in to Vrbo Cust. Service. The Host would not give me a refund, and she was so suspicious of everything that she didn’t even believe the Vrbo agent worked for Vrbo, and wouldn’t work with him. She would not be flexible at all, and was generally unprofessional, and just a scared person who could not make a sound decision quickly. It drove me nuts! Eventually she charged me for I believe three nights even though I did not stay even one.
The building is right by the freeway overpass so the sound and even physically trembling of the freeway are consistently present.
The building has a number of gates which have to be unlocked every time you enter, as I did show up there and look at it for fun, and it seemed very annoying.
I went and looked at the bed as I was thinking to stay there for a night or two once I learned she wasn’t going to refund me. I dropped my briefcase inside the door and went to dinner nearby to think about what I would do. You could hear children making noise in a unit nearby, since the units must not have great sound proofing. The entire building smelled like rice vinegar. The bed looked ridiculously crappy. Do not go!
