"We spent three nights at the Lodge. It is an excellent base for exploring Tongariro. Our room was very comfortable and the lodge had a laundry and drying room. Breakfasts were very good. "Lodge was located at a very convenient place. The owners has kept clean. It has few rooms attached to the property and few outside. We stayed the ones in the main lodge and felt like being at home. Definitely recommend to stay if you are going to tongariro national park"

"We stayed at Rocky Mountain Chalets over Easter and spent a few days on the mountain bike tracks. It was an excellent place to stay, super close to Ohakune town with easy access to excellent cafes and restaurants. I would recommend it ans a great place to stay at any time of year. "

"The place is very clean. Toilet is clean and well supplied with clean towels. The shared kitchen is clean and it has everything you would need. Staff is friendly. It is near carrot adventure land the kids would love. Just 30mins away from tongariro national park. "
