Hooge Bergsche Golf Club

This was an emergency booking due to a transport strike, so was not my first choice. The booking was straightforward and easy. I enquired about a possible meal and was advised that only snacks were available. I later learned that they could have offered a more substantial meal, but too late for me to take advantage of. The no was satisfactory for a budget hotel. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special.

The room was very clean. My issue was the bed. There were two twin beds pushed together and they kept sliding apart, making for a very uncomfortable sleep. In addition to that, having to lug my suitcase down and up stairs was a real pain. Finally, the room was efficient, but just slightly too small. I would stay again, but perhaps get a larger room.
