Reel Ya Inn Cottage - Relaxing Adult Getaway On Big Platte Lake

Reel Ya Inn lakefront guest cottage, on host’s property, is minutes from M22, Lake Michigan beaches, hiking and biking trails and river kayaking. With this perfect location close to Frankfort, Sleeping Bear Dunes Climb, Glen Arbor and Traverse City the adventures are endless!

This 600 sq foot 2 bedroom guest cottage accommodates up to 4 adults. The cottage has an AC and heat pump unit in main living area. All bedding provided for the one queen and 2 twin beds.

The full eat-in kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig, griddle, bar ware and most cooking utensils. Dish soap and towels provided.

Living room includes Wi-Fi, Roku and YouTube TV.

Small 3 piece bathroom with stand up shower. Bath towels, soap, shampoo and hairdryer provided. Please supply your own beach towels.

Outdoor amenities include patio with table and chairs, picnic table, gas grill, fire pit, lounge chairs, private dock, use of kayaks with life jackets, and a close line. Boat mooring buoy available off shore. Please inquire with owners if you are plannning to bring a boat.

No laundry facilities on site. Please, no guest pets. Owners have a dog that is expected to behave and not bother guests.

just wow
this was our first trip to michigan and what an experience it was! this cabin was way more than we thought we were getting. everything was perfect. the view on the lake was amazing. we will definitely be looking into staying here in our future trips.

Fishing Trip
Stayed at Reel Ya Inn for three nights. It was the perfect location for our plans to fish for salmon. The place was perfect, super clean, and a nice setting on the lake. The host were very accommodating. I highly recommend this place.

Great little cottage in the perfect location
Super cute little cottage right on Big Platte Lake. It was the perfect size for 3 adults. Very clean. The owners provided everything we could have needed, plus more! Although it sits right behind the owners home, we never once felt that our privacy was affected. The owners were very pleasant when we did see them, and were great to communicate with. They left an awesome little welcome package and lots of information and tips for the surrounding area. Bonus is a separate dock on the lake for guests to enjoy, plus a fire pit. Would definitely recommend this place! Close to all the local attractions but you feel like you're in your own private little oasis when you're there!

Amazing relaxing week at the lake
We had a wonderful week at the lake. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. It was well-stocked with all the basics and more. We loved all the personal touches. We enjoyed having our own private dock, and the kayaks and paddle boards that we could use at any time. Julie and Todd were excellent hosts and we hope to be back!

Cute Beach Cottage
Super cute little beach cottage, friendly courteous hosts. Cottage is well thought-out with everything you need. Set up for privacy with your own little dock and sitting area. Just like in the pictures. Definitely will stay here again!
