「Our stay at the house on the water was quiet and enjoyable. We got to see manatees right off the property seawall. Also got to see otters from the property. Kayaks available enabled us to see Emu Island and more manatees. Joanne was a great host and also interesting to ask questions to about the history of the area. We would definitely like to return for another stay to the house on the water!」

「The property met our needs of two bedrooms and pet friendly. The location right past the RV resort was a little odd but not an issue. We were coming for scuba certification so that was all we needed. It feels like the renovations are not complete. All the pocket doors and the pantry door need work. What was done so far was nice. 「Outstanding location, near waterfront, tourist venues such as boat rentals, and several eateries. House was very clean and fully equipped. Although entirely satisfactory, this is an old house and has some quirks, such as a toilet sticking out of a closet in one bedroom and a very spongy floor in some places. 「Before staying at this river house we read all the reviews. As a host myself, I know that not all the reviews are honest and that everybody is different. I was born and raised in citrus county and we were coming back because of family member had passed. We had a celebration of life at this river house. 「We really enjoyed staying here. The property was exactly as described in the listing!!!! Many things available for use while there...such as beach towels, chairs, kayaks, games, lounge chairs, Netflix on the TVs, and soooo much more. We were here in early May and saw manatees as well! The only thing worth noting is that the stairs might be difficult to climb for anyone elderly or walking handicap.」

「My wife, mother-in-law and Charlie 🐶 had a wonderful stay. Was easy to find, house was furnished as listed and very clean. Nice open living room with ample seating. The back of the house is where it’s at! Nice big deck to sit, relax and let your cares go. We used the kayaks that was furnished and was able to put in right at the back of the house. We will definitely be back! Do not hesitate to reserve this appropriately named house: Our piece of paradise !!」
