You could not ask for better hosts and how well they keep this property. The view is spectacular and there are two decks in which to sip coffee from in the mornings. The home is clean inside and out! Washer and dryer for laundry are available on the bottom floor, which really helped us as we were guests for almost 2 weeks. You are a hop skip and away from all the things Homer has to offer and the roads are easy to navigate. BB’s Bakery was one of our favorite stops and if you’re there during the Farmer’s Market season, it isn’t more than a 5 minute drive. We recommend going to the Farmers Market as you will be able to immerse yourself into the community Homer is known for. Local jams, jellies, produce and fresh bread - as well as a great many other things.Truly a remarkable home to spend your vacation. It is simple and meets all needs for cooking in the kitchen. We weren’t able to spot the moose that frequent this property but it didn’t stop us from keeping our eyes open every morning and evening.You can also see pontoon planes fly overhead as they access Beluga Lake just down the way. Thank you so much for your delightful hospitality & landscape.This can’t be helped by the property owners and is simply out of their control, but it is in a busy road - that was our only reason for giving 4/5 stars for location. Some folks tend to like to hammer on the gas and that was a little overwhelming. Again, this was nothing that the property owners have any control over.
