As the house is located in a protected natural area and is not connected to the sewage system, shower and washing water is collected from rainwater. Drinking water is provided in canisters and, for longer stays, can be fetched from a nearby well.
Our holiday home is self-catering and heated with a traditional tiled stove. It is situated in the heart of the Rax-Schneeberg hiking region, where you will find this small and cosy cottage at Waxeneck—the perfect place to relax in peace.
The house features an entrance hall, WC, bathroom, bedroom with double bed, living kitchen, and terrace. The living kitchen also includes a pull-out double sofa bed. There is no TV or Wi-Fi, and mobile phone reception is limited.
About 500 m from the house is the Waxeneck lodge, renowned for its excellent cuisine. The lodge is open from Thursday to Sunday only.
If you have any questions or concerns, I am happy to assist you.
