"We truly felt at home in The Valkyrie. We wanted to get away and it was the absolute best place to break away from all the hustle and bustle. The cabin was loaded with everything you need and more. I cannot say enough about how much fun we had at this cabin. We made memories that will last a lifetime. The trail down to the river is breathtaking and so peaceful! "

"We couldn't have been happier with our stay at this amazing cabin It was exactly where we needed to be to get rest but also a bit of adventure as well. The weather was perfect and the river was flowing where we could hear and see it from the house. It's a bit of a walk down and back up, but there is a bench in the middle if you need to rest. I'm VERY picky on beds, and I have to say that we slept better than we have in quite a while. The bed was soft but supportive. The hot tub was perfect after doing some hiking. This was also one of the cleanest homes inside and out that we've stayed at. The outdoor furniture was really nice and clean too. You are way out, but we felt completely safe and couldn't see any other cabins through the trees. Robert was a great host. We will absolutely be back because we've stayed all around the area and this has become our new favorite "

"Great location near DeSoto Park for hiking! The house is the perfect size for 2 and has the basics you would need. There are also some sweet farm dogs which visited us frequently from the nearby houses. "

The cabin was well kept and clean and we recommended anyone considering to book to go ahead. You will be completely satisfied just like we were. The hosts were kind and friendly as well."

"The room was fine although the bed was not made up correctly. Breakfast was a bust! The only items available were 3 types of cereal and a waffle maker. No breads, no muffins, no bagels and no cream cheese. We have stayed at this hotel in the past and all I can say is that the overall quality of the stay has declined."
