Smyrlabjorg has its charms, though it is not luxurious. It reminds one of summer camp, with old world decorations. Breakfast was tasty. A drawback was the weak wifi signal in the rooms; many guests sat in the common areas to use the network.

Clean/comfy/quiet. No laundry for single nighter
Best included breakfast of the week. Free included coffee and got chocolate was a treat. Room was clean, quiet, and comfy. Restaurant was on par price wise with other places so far. My only complaint was they didn't provide washcloths, and they refused laundry service since we had booked a single night.

장점: 갓성비 숙소. 조식 추천. 고대 왕족 게스트로 초대된 것 같은 분위기의 숙소(동물 박제 장식, 뜨개장식 등 볼거리가 많음. 고유의 분위기가 있음). 복도에 커피머신 있음. 화장실 바닥 따뜻함. 단점: 단체관광숙소. 지하같은 1층. 유일하게 인터넷 안터지는 숙소. 냉장고 없음. 방에 라디에이터 없음(공용 복도에 있는 라디에이터에 등산화 양말 널려있음. ). 조명 밝지는 않음.

Great value hotel not far from Glacier Lagoon
Our room was huge and very comfortable, except we couldn't turn down the heating, so had to sleep with a window open. Breakfast was fabulous and we felt this hotel was great value for the price. Would definitely recommend.

It was a really old hotel and very outdated. Wifi didn't work very well, the beds were very hard, and the pillows/sheets not comfy. Staff is very nice, it just needs some serious updating.

This is a family-owned hotel with stunning views and great food. You will have waterfalls as your backyard and a sea view. There are more than 200 sheeps in the property and in the evening you will be able to see how they move the sheeps from one side to the other. This is really a beautiful farm and anything you order will be prepared fresh. I will definitely stay here again.

Best hotel I stayed in Iceland and at a good price
Extremely nice hotel. Best breakfast I had in Iceland. The views are amazing, and the hotel very well maintained. The decoration is very authentic to the Icelandic style. Also very good price and great location to visit the Diamond Beach and glaciers.

Nice hotel with a great breakfast
A very nice Hotel. The rooms are big enough and clean. The beds are comfortable. In the morning you get a breakfast buffet and we can recommend the almond cake. It‘s so tasty! All in all this hotel is a recommendation.

Wonderful place to stay
This place was absolutely wonderful. It’s only 28 min from jokulsarlon. We booked last minute since the closed route 1 to skaftafell. The restaurant was fantastic and they had local beer. Breakfast in the morning was very good. The rooms were large and the water was actually hot in the shower. Overall the best place we stayed.

Execellent service by dining staff. Also huge and spacious room since we booked a triple bed being the ones available. Our room however views seems like an old barn that was converted to rooms and they look almost dilapadated. Would have been nicer if we we stayed in rhe wing overlooking the valley.

Staff were very nice and helpful and the food was "good" but in comparison to other hotels it needed to be updated. Not enough linens and "extras" in the rooms although the rooms were very clean and tidy. A mid-range hotel at best.

This hotel is NOT worse than a 4-star hotel that we used to stay. Morning buffet was excellent. Extra large room. The only thing not as good is there’s no lift to get to first floor.
