Wir sind sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen worden. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Zum Frühstück gab es für jeden etwas. Müsli, Brötchen, Speck, Ei und lecker war es auch.

toll

das landhaus war einfacht toll. das zimmer sehr sauber, das frühstück bestand aus einer wunderbaren auswahl, die besitzer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. sogar an den lärm der autobahn ( bei 40grad hitze konnten wir das fenster nicht schliessen) haben wir uns bestens gewöhnt.

Nice place, shame about the traffic noise

The hotel is well off the beaten track and is very clean and comfortable. Beer available from the dining room in an honesty basis. The rooms are fairly basic with no tea or coffee facilities but very clean. My only complaint was the noise of the very adjacent motor way. The traffic noise was very invasive all night. Even with the window shut, traffic noise could be heard. It was quite a warm evening and I’d have preferred to have the window open. Breakfast was usual German collection of cheese and meets with nice coffee

Nette kleine Frühstückspension. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Leider kein Restaurant oder ähnliches in der Nähe. Zimmer/Bad war geräumig und sauber. Umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffett.

I love this gem of a guest house, parking good, beds always comfortable, breakfast is buffet style but after the first day my coffee was waiting on my table. Really nice location to listen to the birds.

Nice place to stay, middle of nowhere

It took a bit of finding, but it was worth it. Sited in the middle of multiple cycle and footpaths, a little too close to a busy road, but it doesn't intrude too much. A lovely property sited in nice grounds. A nice welcome. The hotel offers continental breakfast, but no other facilities. There is a raised swimming pool in the grounds, but not sure if that was for hosts only, guests or both. Our room was on the top floor. The bathrooms were dedicated to each room, but in a corridor. This wasn't an issue. No tea or coffee making facilities, no hot water constantly available in the breakfast room, but the friendly staff happily made us a flask of hot water and we took cups and tea from the breakfast room. Hovelhof, the local town about 4km away offered restaurants.

A peaceful location with great service.

As others have said this is a little off the beaten track and a GPS is needed to get there, but it takes you directly to it along a single track road. The location is lovely, the birds tweeting, the views nice and was 15 minutes from where I needed to be, so convenient. I was a little uncomfortable the first night because I arrived slightly later than I thought and had neglected to inform the guesthouse before I travelled, it was my first time driving in Germany so got a little lost leaving the airport. But once over that initial discomfort the place was lovely, the room and bathroom are cleaner than a traditional hotel, the breakfast buffet was kept well topped up with plenty of choice. There is ample parking. I also had to leave very early in the morning, which also caused me some issues, it is a guesthouse and there is nowhere to leave the key for an early check out (5.30am). Thankfully it was only about an hour before normal people would be getting up so I didn't feel I was leaving it insecure, but it would benefit from a yale type of lock and key drop off. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Großzügige Unterkunft

Das Gasthaus war großzügig, man fühlte sich nicht eingeengt. Man hatte die Möglichkeit, von hier direkt mit dem Fahrrad Touren zu unternehmen. Die vielen großen Bäume gaben das Gefühl von Landleben wieder.

Immersi nella natura

Una casa di campagna, recentemente ristrutturata, immersa nella natura ma a due passi dall'autostrada. Ci siamo fermati per una notte durante il viaggio di ritorno da Colonia con l'intenzione di visitare il castello museo di Wewelsburg. E' risultata un'ottima scelta che ci ha permesso di rilassarci dopo la frenetica esperienza di Colonia. La zona è molto indicata per lunghe passeggiate in bicicletta. L'albergo è confortevole, la nostra stanza godeva di una deliziosa vista sul giardino e il personale è molto cortese. Ottima anche la colazione. Consigliatissimo!
