Sehr guter Service. Essen war immer lecker und das Personal immer sehr freundlich. Der Guide und Tracker haben die Game Drives zu einem tollen Erlebnis gemacht und haben uns nebenbei noch viele Informationen und Geschichten zu den Tieren erzählt. Kann die Lodge auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen...

Absolutely wonderful staff, excellent location right in front of a water source where animals come to freshen up and very knowledgeable guides. I could not recommend this place more. Truly a 5-star experience!!

This Safari camp massively exceeded all expections from arrival till the day we had to leave. All members of staff were highly knowledgeable, My partner and i learnt so much and we was very sad to leave.

Relaxed atmosphere, accommodating staff, food of high quality drawn from local suppliers and superbly cooked. Excellent rustic accommodation, very appropriate for a lodge, but be prepared for a tent confortable well equipped, standing room everywhere.. Guiding of the highest quality. Excellent knowledge of the likely location of animals from elephants to dung beetles. Good explanations about habits and habitats. Superb experience.

Exceptional wildlife guide

Sausage Tree Safari camp is in big five country in the greater Kruger National Park. The facilities are stylish and many parts of Balule Olifants nature reserve have lovely views across the bushveld to the Drakensberg Mountains. Because of the number of lodges at Balule, we did not get the same feeling of wildness that we have experienced at private camps elsewhere in the greater Kruger. But our guide, Matthew Sussens, had the most exceptional knowledge of the animals and environment. Working with enthusiastic tracker Thembe, he brought us up close to magnificent lions, rhino, wild dogs and elephant. He was able to make even a visit to a termite mound fascinating. I would rank Matthew among the top guides in Africa.

Experiência indescritível... o quarto, na verdade, é uma barraca chique e confortável. Equipe super atenciosa. Os “game drives” são super emocionantes. Recomendo pelo menos 2 noites. Refeições excelentes! Quero voltar.

Persönlich geführte Lodge mit schönem Ambiente

Im Camp fühlt man sich von der ersten Minute an Willkommen. Das Konzept des Camps ist gut durchdacht, die Mahlzeiten ausreichend und köstlich! Die Gastgeber essen mit den Gästen. Es gibt maximal 10 Teilnehmer. Die Zelte waren sauber und mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet. Es gibt Außenduschen, die den Badezimmern angeschlossen sind. Kevin und Temba haben tolle Pirschfahrten unternommen und haben sehr gute Kenntnisse auch über unscheinbare Tiere. Wir haben die Zeit im Camp sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen!!! Many thanks again for some wonderfull days 😘

Perfect stay for discovering the greater Kruger

From the moment of arrival we felt home here. The staff is wonderful, the food even better and the game drives are perfectly done bij the spotter and driver, you feel the passion they have for the wildlife around them. The rooms are very comfortable and we totally recommend this place if you are looking for a lodge in the greater Kruger.
