"Stay was okay. Building was clean and everything worked well. Location was much further from red river gorge than expected, about 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes one way to a trail. Bed was very hard. Hot tub was nice. Overall, decent if you dont mind the sleeping conditions and the drive but for us it wasnt worth the cost "

"The furnishings are old and worn out. But clean and fine.
It was amusing that the waitress didn't know what a gin and tonic is. Afterall, we were in KY."
"Our room was so dusty that I had to dust everything including the microwave, the window blinds, the heater/air conditioner. Even the air conditioner filters were full of dust. I am allergic to dust and dust mites. The microwave was sitting on top of the mini fridge that was sitting on a stand. That made the microwave cord too short to plug in so we had to give up a chair to set the microwave on to be able use it. The mattress on the bed needs replaced. The whole middle of the bed was sunken in. We had to put a pillow there to keep from rolling into it. My husband said he held onto the side of the bed each night to keep from rolling into the middle. There's no insulation in the walls or ceiling. Every time someone walked in the room above us we woke up. On Monday morning they replaced the flooring in the room directly above us. :( We woke up to bang, bang, crash... It was so bad. At times it sounded like someone was dropping a huge chain on the floor. Then Monday night when we were alseep (at 11:15 p.m. then again at 12:15 a.m.) housekeeping decided to do laundry, which was next to our room. The washer was off balance both times and banged and banged and banged. We about jumped out of our skins. We could hear what sounded like the agitator going in the washer (just after the banging at 12:15 a.m.) even when the air conditioner was running we could still hear it. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you."
"The cabin was wonderful. We greatly enjoyed our stay. INCREDIBLE VIEWS with a perfect hot tub, fire pit and more to add to the enjoyment. Very comfortable interior and an incredible tub and shower set up. We will certainly stay again on a future visit. Our only recommendation to make it better.....extra bath towels and tissues in the bathroom would be a plus."
"We enjoyed our stay but here are the pros and cons:Pros: Location, secluded, spacious, well stocked kitchen, nice deck that we would've used more if the weather was warmer, our kids loved the rock wall, that was a unique feature.Cons: Needs a deep cleaning, lots of dust and hair (not mine) in the tub, the jetted tub is useless because the water pressure is so low, it would take too long to fill it, sink and tub in main bathroom was very slow and the other 2 bathrooms are tiny. Looked everywhere for extra blankets, did not find any. Lastly, the furniture is very worn, rips and tears all over."

"All 4 travelers decided that this place earned 5 stars!! The setting is beautiful and it is conveniently located close to everything. We loved sitting on the back deck, listening to the birds sing and watching the fish in the pond. The hot tub was clean and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked and the washer/dryer were a wonderful perk. Overall, this house was the perfect place to relax in the gorge "

"The cabin overall was clean, the guest bathroom had a lot of hair left over from the previous guests. The outside was as pictured, but the water was not as accessible as stated. The cabin is perfect for families that love the outdoors! "
