牧場の中の農家
Old homestead に泊まりましたが、広くて自動食器洗い機など一通りの設備が備え付けてある。窓から見える農場の景色は素晴らしかった。

Beautiful location, stunning view from the deck. Enjoyed relaxing at the end of the day in a lovely deep hot bath. Nice and quiet location felt far away from everything but very close to getting into town. Would recommend.

The view was incredible. Annnd that's about it. The map location to get to the property was incorrect so we ended up having to call them to find out where to go, which was a bit frustrating but we got there! The bed was made a bit weird? There was no fitted sheet, or doona cover on the doona, the bed was made with flat sheets only? Felt this was strange and messy option. There was a washing machine and dryer included in the stay, but when we went to use it, found out it was coin operated 3x $2coins for the washer, and $5 for the dryer (I think) but it didn't work, ate our coins anyway, and the property owner/manager was unresponsive when I asked about this. There was a bathtub but no bathwash, shower and two small hotel soap discs. Felt a bit poor on amenities. Would have liked to seen a small bottle of bubble bath or something, or shower gel. I know these are small things but it made the stay feel a bit short of good. They're simple and easy changes to elevate the experience. Probably wouldn't stay again. Did enjoy the wild bunnies, chickens, roosters and guinea fouls, very cute farm animals.

Seymour cottage was nice however, there were a lot of cob webs throughout and a kitchen ceiling light had obviously blown and had been left with an exposed electrical cord hanging from the ceiling. This was very un appealing on arrival. For a property that provides enough beds for a couple and two children, there is only enough living room seating for 3 people. ( 2 seater couch & single arm chair). Felt it was a little impersonnel with no contact other than a text & email as to the location of the key to pick up etc. Overall a nice place grounds were lovely but in need of a freshen up.

The view was stunning, the unit was delightful, in a lovely setting all fitting our need for quiet privacy. It did though present difficulty communicating with the management when a small but annoying problem arose

There is no communication with the host regardless you need any support no matter what urgency or emergency you may be into. You may try reaching out on fb messenger but they seem to read your messages and choose not to respond.Lack of basic amenities in the property. Dirty ,stained and torn sheets and blankets.so disappointing. I wish Riversdale Estate Cottages reach out and we are happy to provide evidence.

The individual accommodation s are located in a lovely quiet location overlookin the large vine fields. Its a relaxing location although you do occasionally hear the early morning Cockerell but thats what you expect in a fine country. Ennvironment. All in all a very relaxing comfortable little hidaway.

Cottage comfortable, clean linen and oven worked beautifully for the Xmas Ham. Unique French taste in furnishings. Had a quiet small dog who was limited to a lead or inside due to no fencing. Small yard if being pet friendly would have completed our amazing stay on the property.

The cottage was cute & clean. Had lunch at the Winery & that was yummy. I didn't like that there didn't seem to be anybody to call if there is a problem. I didn't have a problem though.

Very good, more attention/information
My family had a very good stay, cottage is good with a fantastic views out over vineyards. However there aren’t information about the options like dining or tasting or where is the cleaning bags or anything that you need... Nobody isn’t cleaning and carpet is dirty and there were a lot of cobwebs and some animals (flies) that bit my child.

The smell upon entering the room was overpowering to say the least. A floral(ish) type smell that reminded me of Febreeze which was sprayed onto the cushions, bedspreads and bedheads. I had to put everything i could outside on the chairs on the verandah and sleep was almost impossible. We woke with sore throats and headaches. Don't get me started on the rooster, it followed us to our cottage and stood in front of us crowing for almost 40 minutes then woke us right outside the front door. There were a lot of cobwebs. The taps in the kitchen wobbled substantially when used, that's dangerous and needs to be fixed asap. I stayed here a couple of years ago and was very happy, not so much this time around an not sure I'll be back, certainly not if that smell is still being used!!!

There was no heating in the cold bathroom as the heater was faulty. Some rooms were cold as the heaters did not warm well. The location was near the construction site. However I stayed over the weekend so it was alright.

We liked the view & the property was a lovely rural setting and very peaceful. We found the cottage to be disappointing. There were stains on the carpet, the sofa and chair was worn, the bathroom door was broken and would lock you in, there were cobwebs throughout the cottage and the bed spread was stained. There was no information in the cottage regarding the property and what it offered. There was also no tourist information available.

Nice cottage with a nice vineyard view
The cottage was having a nice front facing view of the vineyard. the classical interior of the cottage is nice and it gives you the feeling of staying in those house in early 19th century. It is a very peaceful place as it is situated within the vineyard with the bay at the background.

Cute Cottages in the Vines
Cute cottages with fantastic views out over the vineyards and to the bay beyond. Well equipped kitchen, nicely furnished and spacious cottages only a short stroll from a number of wineries and dining options, including Riversdale Estate itself. We will definitely be staying here again!

We loved the location, space, outlook and bath. We didn't like the dust and mold and cobwebs and filthy carpet and the fact that the cottage was very tired and when that was brought to the Owners attention there was no response/reply or attempt at an apology/service recovery.

Great for a romantic retreat. In the heart of some amazing wineries and close enough to town to not feel isolated. Our cottage had an amazing bathroom with a rainfall showerhead and stand alone bath

Beautiful cottages. Very clean, spacious, fully-equipped. In beautiful location, easy drive into Hobart. We had a very peaceful and pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

Stay at Riversdale Estate Cottages
My family (2+2) and I used Riversdale estate cottages as a base during our first 5 days in Tasmania. Overall a great stay. Fantastic view and ambience, and nice cottage. The cottage could do with a good cleaning though. Also note that 1 bedroom is in the living room. No issue for us but maybe less convenient for others.

A vineyard journey
It's one of the biggest family owned winery in Tasmania, we are just like living in a small village, i feed the chicken every morning, live is so relaxing... However, from the.entrance to the cottage, it takes you a 5 min drive in a rough road, so if you don't have a car, please don't come here or you needa walk for at least 30 min. FYI, Frogmore vineyard is just next door!!

Old Homestead - Name says it all!
The house was comfortable and heating was good. The house is indeed old so don't expect a modern residence. We stayed with another family and really only slept at the house. The sites were lovely and hosts were great with contacting us if needed. There are certainly things which could be done to improve the property, but if you're just looking for a bed then this place is fine! Please note: the property has a dinning table which only sits 6 (8 at a real squeeze).

Wonderful stay in vineyard 10 mins from richmond
