"We had the best stay at Hoang Su Phi Lodge. The location is exquisite with the most amazing views. The room looks exactly like the pictures, with crisp white bedding, new towels and great facilities. The staff is lovely, they cooked us a delicious dinner and tasty pancakes for breakfast. "Lovely hotel BUT, marred by the fact they chose not to put a decent extractor in the bathroom during the refurbishment, or it wasn't working if there is one and none of the windows open, SO, the room is damp as the moisture from having a shower has nowhere to go. The bed is damp, the duvet is damp and heavy from sucking up the moisture in the air as it can't escape from the room. This means, for me, a very sweaty night in bed, far from comfortable.
