"The house was clean and kitchen had good equipment, though I did not use much of them. It is a simple residence and staff/owners accommodates with accessories like towels if you ask. I took advantage of the touring assistance, which was handled, working through travel time extensions due to more recent typhoons that hit the area late in the season."

"I had a wonderful stay here. The staff was EXTREMELY sweet and helpful, they looked after me during my entire stay. This place has one of the most amazing and beautiful views of the rice terraces, right at your doorstep! It is about a 20-30 min drive from Banaue town, and is a very quiet and serene environment. Service was spotty, but it adds to the need to just relax and soak up the gorgeous views in front of you. On top of that, the inn serves breakfast and dinner, and has pretty much everything you could need. The food was AMAZING! Be aware, it is a more rustic or remote feel, if you want to be staying in a 5 star resort surrounded by all the urban amenities, this is not for you. If you want to “get away” and really experience the beauty of Banaue and surrounding area, this IS for you! I will most certainly be returning and staying here again! "

"I don't know if this place will be for everyone as the furnishings and amenities are quite minimal and it's hard to find if you arrive in Sagada by car...but once you settle in it can be quite soothing. It's a ways from the main road in its own neighborhood and it was quite peaceful sitting on the terrace in the morning or evening and listening to dogs, roosters and neighbors chatting. The host, Domy, is very personable and helpful and she made a delicious breakfast each morning (some of the best food I had in Sagada). Trekkers and such are probably fine here. As an older solo traveler who requires a little bit more in the way of comfort, I found that I had to adapt a bit. And when I did, I was happy to have stayed here for two nights..."

"Very much a budget hotel. The only one in Bagabag so I wasn't expecting much, and I got it. Their main business comes from locals, not tourists, even though it's a great location to jump off from, for highway 109 and 110 (south & west respectively. The mountain drives are awesome. So weddings are a mainstay for the hotel, but the wedding began at 3am!!!! All the wedding party and photographers, set construction etc, up making noise from 3am! I think the hotel are happier to ask forgiveness rather than permission. Then there was: no sheets on the beds, just throw rugs - small - normal for the location, but not for a westerner who's used to sheets at least; cockroaches, but not every night, VERY noisy a/c; beds and fixtures in disrepair; nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom; no shelf for toiletries; not all the electric switches work; TV worked but it was highly damaged such that you couldn't watch it. The staff are good though, and the water lilies magnificent. Easy to catch a tricycle out front, but don't pay too much: 50 pesos into Bagabag as at March 2025, and 200 pesos into Solano. Bagabag is a great place to soak up the genuine Filipino culture though. Expect friendly people."
