Really enjoyed our visit with our grandkids. Rented bikes and rode to harbor town which we loved. The beach was awesome-not too crowded. House was great. Plenty of room. Only problem-stove took forever to heat up.

Great location, house can sleep 8, but house is a little dated.

We have been to HHI many times and love it! This was our first time renting a house. Great property, if you need 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Bonus room that has trundle bed; can serve as an extra TV or gaming room. The first weekend we had 5 people. Remaining vaca was my husband, myself and our small dog! Kudos for being dog friendly. Loved the neighborhood, located less than a mile from the beach (.8 Mile) and a neighborhood walking path to Sea Pines Plaza!!. Host to Coast did a great job! Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked adequately with cookware. What didn't work for us: Host to Coast confirmed that 2nd full bath needs bath/shower hardware replaced. Behaves like the shower handles are ready to fall off. Washing machine can only wash in HOT water!! There is a cold-water line that is improperly rigged to the washer and does not work if you need to do cold loads for delicate clothing like bathing suites and sportswear. The master bedroom, closet & bath were large & lovely!! What is/was not lovely; there is NO bathroom door to the master bath!!! If you need wheel chair accessible MB this may be for you. But if you value your bathroom privacy, this is a hard pass. Luckily for us we had two empty bathrooms once our extended family left! I would definitely rent in the same neighborhood with VRBO and Host to Coast again. The owner otherwise has taken great care of his/her second home. TV Streaming and Internet services worked great!

Great Sea Pines location

This is a spacious home in a great location in Sea Pines. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to The Shops. The Beach Club is a quick and easy bike ride away or can be accessed via the trolley. Kitchen was large and well stocked for preparing meals. Room and bed setup was ideal for our group of six adults and one teenager. However, the sunroom stays quite warm despite the ceiling fan and was not as comfortable for sleeping. The outdoor space could be more inviting and cleaner in general and we noticed some items in need of repair/maintenance around the home such as holes/patchwork, main bedroom light fixture and kitchen cabinet laminate. For us, these issues detracted from the overall value given the price point compared to other HHI homes and villas we have rented. Management Company (host2coast) was very responsive before and during our trip, and we appreciated the extra beach towels and quality hand/dish soap in ample supply.

Disappointing

This home was described as “when luxury meets convenience.” The home was far from a luxury home. The minimal outdoor furniture was dirty and not usable. There was a newly built additional deck; however, there was not any furniture. The sky lights were so dirty they blocked the light. The overall home was not as described in the description. The only positive was it’s location. It was close to the beach and restaurants. We were disappointed for what we paid for the rental relative to its condition

Enjoyed Our Stay

Clean and quiet. Comfy beds. Easy walk to beach (just over 1 mile). Plenty of wildlife. First time we've seen an armadillo.

Nice house - convenient location!

This was our 8th year visiting Sea Pines for Thanksgiving, but our first year renting this house. The house was clean, well-equipped and convenient to everything Sea Pines has to offer. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us, and each bedroom had it's own bathroom which was a nice perk. Our sweet Black Lab was so happy to be able to join us this year! We look forward to returning next year.

Lovely, large home in quiet neighborhood

Beautiful home with plenty of room for our family of 8. Kitchen was large with plenty of dishes & glasses. Pool was great! I would highly recommend this property!
