Spectacular Log Home with Private Lake Access

  • WELCOME TO DEEP MOUNTAIN LODGE! This state-of-the-art log home was completely renovated in 2019. Situated on 10+ acres of forested woodland, this is a wonderful destination for one- or two-family rentals. The Lodge, which sleeps 8+ people, features a large yard with fire pit that is perfect for cookouts and gatherings. Enjoy the lovely screened porch, and a private walking path down to Deering Reservoir—one of New Hampshire's cleanest lakes. Great local restaurants and pubs, just one hour from the Massachusetts border.

    Warm weather guests can enjoy kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, hiking, and more. Bring your own boat! Just minutes from golfing, hiking trails, and historic sites. For winter fun, this home is just minutes from three ski mountains featuring over 100 ski trails, night skiing, terrain parks, tubing, etc. The lake and surrounding areas provide excellent cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Bring your snow machines!

Incredible hospitality in this very comfortable New Hampshire home. We went in the middle of winter and every room had updated and dedicated heat sources. They even left us a little snacks and cookies in the fridge. 10 out of 10 vacation and will be going back in the spring/summer to experience the lake in the backyard.

Cabin in the New Hampshire Woods

We loved our stay at this property. Cabin was perfect for us. Kitchen was fabulous, air conditioning in each room, so comfortable. Outdoor area with fire pit and picnic tables was great. Host was super responsive to our needs.

Memorial weekend getaway

The property was great! Very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals and just relax. Lake was nice but it was a little chilly over the weekend. The hosts left some muffins, cookies, fruit and some beverages which was we though was a nice touch.

Wonderful 3 night stay in this beautiful log home. Access to the lake, dock and kayaks was a bonus. We had a blast on the lake and did a good amount of fishing. We will definitely be back!

Perfect place for a fall weekend getaway! The kids went fishing on the dock, we played boardgames, and we used the corn hole set outside. The fire pit looked great even though we couldn't use it this time (statewide fire ban due to a drought). The hosts left everything we needed for breakfast the next day as well as some drinks - such a great surprise. Already thinking about booking our stay for next year!

Family get away

Lovely log cabin home in the woods, with a quick little walk to the lake to our own dock. We loved having use of kayaks and swimming out to the floating dock. Loved the loons.

Delightful Stay in Deering

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and well equipped! My adult children loved playing in the lake, and I had a great time cooking for all. The goodies left in the fridge were a really nice touch. We’d love to come again, if our schedules all can accommodate another visit!

The log cabin was very nice and clean. The hosts were so kind and provided some groceries and snacks to start off with. The lake which was down two paths from the house was beautiful.! We had a great time!

Great fishing!

My husband and boys absolutely loved the bass fishing on this lake. The neighbors were super friendly and let us plug in our boat for the week so we didn’t have to use portable power for the trolling motor.

Lovely stay

We had a wonderful week at the camp! It was private and quiet with access to the water which was lovely. The walkway to the water is steep but once there a beautiful spot to spend time swimming and fishing. Host was very responsive and there were sweet welcoming gifts upon arrival. Thanks so much!

We thoroughly enjoyed our return trip to this Log Home in Deering! It proved to be another amazing week which started off with the goodies left in the fridge and on the counter by these most thoughtful owners! Breakfast would have been all set for us with their thoughtful purchases. With comfortable beds, incredible neighbors, amazing firepit, easy accessible waterfront, and all the amenities you could want, this home is perfect for getways with your family! Wonderful get away

Our stay was great from the time we arrived to the time we left. The house was clean with everything you will need. The hosts left goodies in the fridge. Short drive to center, Shaws and hardware. The property was private and quiet. Short walk to lake. The path is a bit steep for some.

Great lake... great stay!

We had a wonderful time at Deep Mountain Lodge. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a great week at the lake. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook all of our meals with ease. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed exploring Deering Reservoir. The water is perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. My husband was able to launch his small sunfish sailboat at the public boat launch and dock it right by the house. At night we enjoyed the campfire on the property. We had a memorable week!

Great experience for everyone

It is a very nice and cozy cabin house near a lake. Plenty of skiing and hiking options closely. The house looks newly renovated and clean. Love the open living area with a gas fireplace. Well equipped kitchen and laundry room. The communication with the property manager was easy and timely. Got complimentary snacks, fruits, and drinks waiting for us upon arrival, were also offered early check-in and late check-out. Had a path walking down to a private dock on the lake, which was frozen now. But should be very nice in the summer for swimming and kayaking. Awesome stay overall!

Quiet get-away

This property is tucked in woods in a very quiet neighborhood. It is heavily wooded (more-so than the pictures really indicate so there is not much sunlight that makes its way the house and the bedrooms are a little dark as a result). The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for meals. Communication with the property manager was easy and prompt and they even left some very nice welcome treats. The grill has seen better days as have the stairs leading up to the property which may be a little tricky to maneuver for older visitors- but that didn't hinder our enjoyment of our time there. The access to lake was very nice - our daughter (and our dog) enjoyed swimming to the floating dock and we really enjoyed kayaking around the lake and exploring some of the local trails. Overall a nice get-away!

Wonderful cabin!

This was a perfect place for our family to come and relax! The cabin is a perfect size and feels so peaceful. Every comfort was provided and Tom was a great host.
