「My husband and I had a peaceful stay at the beautifully appointed cabin - there was good information upon check in and the air conditioning was awesome (the few days we needed it on). There were many items left in the kitchen to start our visit. There is the most lovely view from the cabin and a very quick walk to the lake - sunsets were amazing!!」

「We loved everything about our stay. The house had so many nice touches, was very clean, and the hostess Julie went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed being right on the pond. The dogs went swimming every day, and we loved kayaking around the pond. It was very peaceful and quiet and just what I needed to unwind and relax. 」

「Lovely cottage that was perfect for a short vacation for our small family. So glad to find a comfortable, dog friendly place! Barb has a helpful binder for guests on the desk with great local suggestions. (We loved Ziggy's pizza.) The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked with dishes and cooking items. Our dog loved how low the windows were compared to ours at home.」

「Very nice cabin. 」

「This is a lovely cabin and the owners seem nice, but it needs a new cleaning plan. After arriving to a dirty microwave, dog food on the floor, a dirty floor, a moldy shower curtain, cobwebs over the table, etc… I did some digging on other sites to see people’s comments and they were the same. The owner’s response to them and to me was that it was professionally cleaned (if this is true, they need to be fired) and that he would talk to them. Well, nothing seems to have changed since the same...

「Absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and exactly as described. The pond was clean sandy and perfect for swimming with our dogs. The location was quiet ane peaceful and the host was responsive and welcoming. We'd definetly come back. 」

「We moved 27 years ago from NH. John was born in New London and raised in Sunapee. We raised our 2 kids in Henniker. Rodd cottage made an amazing place to bring our family together. Peaceful and relaxing. Lots of things to do too.Thank you to the Rodd family for sharing.」
