Hills Pond

This property was quite pleasant two decades ago, but unfortunately, it has deteriorated significantly. My room had an unpleasant odor of copper pennies and cigarettes. To alleviate the smell, I kept the windows open and used the fan to circulate the air. The grounds were neglected and appeared to have been inhabited by unsavory individuals. However, if you’re seeking an affordable room, this might be the most economical option in town. Just be aware that you get what you pay for. If you’re primarily interested in a crash pad and want to enjoy the beach on a budget, this could be a suitable place for you.

Nice, well kept property. Our unit was updated, beds comfortable and no parking issues. Wish they gave us coffee in the room. Unit had a full kitchen.

Overall, my wife and I had a GREAT stay! Staff was helpful when we needed something. The area around the motel and in the room was very well maintainced and clean! Felt recently renovated and kind of like a hotel in the room with it feeling newer, although we knew we were at a motel. In Wells, but 5 minutes up the road from everything (Beaches, restos and shops). Would definitely recommend a stay here. Next time we're going to look into the little cottage style houses/rooms they have on the property as well. :)
