"Historic? Yes. Charming? Definitely. Great location? You bet. The entire hotel is well kept and original. There is no central air so keep that in mind of course. The only complaints I have is the box spring in my bed was extremely squeeky loud. And the room’s only window unfortunately faced a loud buzzing generator on the ground outside that was on all night."

"A peaceful lakeside retreat we can’t wait to return to!We had a wonderful weekend at this cabin. It was roomy and comfortable, and spotlessly clean when we arrived. The setting is truly relaxing: the view is amazing, and having direct lake access made it easy to slow down and enjoy every moment.The canoes and kayaks were a highlight. Paddling out on the lake was so much fun and a great way to explore. The kitchen was also very usable and stocked with everything we needed, so cooking was easy and enjoyable.The nature viewing was incredible. We spotted loons, otters, eagles, geese, deer, kingfishers, and even trout in the water. It felt like having a front-row seat to the wildlife all weekend.We will definitely be back, and next time we’re bringing our teenagers along. They’re going to love it as much as we did. Highly recommend!"

"This is a very cozy cottage right on the beach. The Market in Seabrook is 10 mins away for groceries. So you get the convenience of Seabrook with a house right on the beach. We had dinner at sunset on the deck -- absolutely beautiful! Sunrise on the beach was also stunning.It was very well provisioned and equipped. For example, the washer and dryer appear to be new. Everything seemed to work, except I couldn't get the CD player to work. We didn't try the hot tub. The lighthouse theme was carried thoughtfully throughout the house -- very cute.My only nitpick is that the house could have benefited from a more thorough cleaning. There were cob webs and dust on the ceilings and walls. And dog hair got all over my clothes and on my phone. I have allergies, so I do not appreciate pet hair and dust."

"I was very happy with the accommodations overall. Everything was nicely updated. Unfortunately the fireplace was not working but it wasn't a huge deal. The view, access and proximity to the ocean was great. The downstairs bedroom had a bit of a damp smell. The upstairs deck was nice with a very decent view, barbecue and fire table that were great. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. People I had contact with were very friendly. Truly a hidden treasure."
