"Decent place to stay. Rates are unbeatable, rooms out back are spacious. There are lots of rooms rented to monthly tenants, some can be very intrusive and sketchy. Be warned they will want to talk to you lots if you go for breakfast."

"For the price, this hotel was acceptable, especially for a pet-friendly hotel that allows cats. I have stayed here twice and the room I had this time was much nicer than the one I had the first time. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was minimal but it is a budget hotel. They have laundry facilities which were clean and worked well."

"Clean Basic room at a good price-point. Breakfast was fantastic which is one of the main reasons I usually stay here when I come to Bangor. But Two serious problems: 1. Not nearly enough electrical outlets in the room. 2. Internet was 95% unusable, WIFI kept going in and out. Three different devices, laptop, tablet and phone. They moved me to a different room twice trying to rectify the problem, reset the modems and routers several times but no luck. After this they insisted that "they" weren't having any problems with it. I did try it in the lobby and it worked fine there and was told I was "welcome to use it in the lobby". Sorry, but I will have to look elsewhere for accommodation the next time I am in Bangor."

"This establishment is my idea of an Inn: They don't have a lobby, they have a living room with fireplace; not a breakfast area with a silent attendant, a dining room with a friendly and cheerful face overseeing everyone has what they need; not a front entry but a place to relax in a rocker; not a cookie-cutter box of a room but a well-appointed room comfy & cozy. We absolutely loved it! The only downside to the place was the entry walkway which has suffered some upheavals making a transit a real chore for the mobility-challenged. "
