We looked at far more expensive, all-inclusive accommodations in San Pedro de Atacama before discovering Hotel Desertica. What a find! They truly had everything you need for a relaxing stay in the desert at a very reasonable price. The staff is friendly and professional, the free breakfast was fresh and abundant, and it was great to unwind at the restaurant at night after a long day exploring this incredible part of the world. The staff were friendly and helpful and created a great atmosphere. The place itself is beautiful. Far enough away from the village, but near enough for a casual walk. The tour with Francisco from the hotel, who was deeply knowledgeable about the area, was a highlight.

The hotel and grounds was beautiful! The staff was very helpful and kind. Alejandra was especially helpful and welcoming. She helped us secure a transfer to the airport as well as recommendations for bike rentals and other information. The grounds has 3 lovely dogs on property who are adorable and sweet. The breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay!
