「I’m really happy to have stayed here. The hotel is situated in the prettiest street in town, by many of it’s best eats. The receptionist, Shamiso, made me feel very welcome the entire stay and provided plenty of ideas for hiking, wine tasting or just enjoying the town. Everything was clean and neat, the breakfast varied, delicious, homemade and plentiful. The bartender, Devonne, was delightful and attentive and even surprised me with an impressive live performance on acoustic gitar, good vocals...

The property and my room were beautiful and the breakfast was a good as any I’ve had at at B&B (made even more enjoyable by the view over the garden and olive grove). Best yet was the personal care provided the owners Pam and “Ant” who are very hands on. I highly recommended Montagu Vines.」

「Stayed for one night with my boyfriend as a stopover between Sutherland and Cape Town, and honestly wish we’d booked two. Despite booking very last minute, Evelyn made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived with a glass of champagne. The property is beautifully curated; every piece of furniture and decor feels intentional, giving the whole place a boutique, high-end atmosphere. We had our own parking space right outside our suite, which was a nice touch. The suite itself genuinely exceeded...

「Our room was lovely and clean. The staff was fabulous. Note dear traveler:the Airlies Lodge was not open when we arrived and we banged on the door to no avail. A passerby pointed out that the Monta Villa had taken the property over and was accessible around the corner. Wish Airlies had a sign to that effect. So once we figured it all out, it went well.」

「It was a perfect stay and rest. Stay longer and they have many things to do in the area. Hikes, guided tours, cycling, motor bike club and even a Rolls Royce car tour. The host was wonderful and caring, it was a lovely stay Colin from London」

「Lovely hotel set in a quiet little town. Loved the art deco style, furniture and our large upgraded room. Staff were really friendly and professional. Only stayed one night but will definitely stay longer next time. Highly recommended!」

「We really enjoyed our stay. Especially our Toy Poodle and Yorkie. They could roam around freely, because the premises is safe and dog-proof. We enjoyed the goodies supplied and the owners are very friendly. The cottage is nice and big and we especially enjoyed the Netflix. Only negatives, here and there things that were not completely clean, like drawers and over gloves, etc but nothing that a thorough clean can't fix. Overall the place was clean enough. We will definitely go again.」

「Adoramos nossa estagia nesta guest house localizada no meio de um campo de lavandas.. tudo muito charmoso, delicado e acolhedor.. muito silencioso e relaxante. Os campos de lavanda conferem um charme especial, inclusive as amenities: shampoo, creme cabelo, sabonete e sachet são produzidos no local e é possível comprar todos os produtos produzidos por eles. O café da manhã é ótimo… super vale a pena… tudo muito gostoso e preparado na hora. 」
