Maple Station - Raystown Lake: Seven Points Marina
Maple Station | A Grand Country Inn for Memory-Making note that "Griddy Coyote and "Sportsmans Cottage " are a short walk away and can be rented at the same time
Nestled in the charming village of Hesston, just minutes from Raystown Lake, Maple Station is a place where old-world character meets modern comfort. Built in 1860, this beautifully restored country inn carries the soul of a bygone era while offering everything today’s families and groups need for a perfect getaway.
The moment you arrive, something shifts. The pace slows. The air feels cleaner. And the house wraps around you with that rare feeling of warmth and familiarity, like stepping into Grandma’s house, only bigger, better, and made for celebration.
With five bedrooms and three full bathrooms, Maple Station comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests, making it ideal for large families, reunions, biking crews, fishing trips, and holiday gatherings. Every bedroom is upstairs, creating a quiet retreat for sleeping while the main floor remains open and social.
The fully equipped kitchen and two dining areas make group meals effortless. Whether you’re cooking big breakfasts, grilling outside, or sharing late-night snacks, this home was designed for togetherness.
One of Maple Station’s signature features is the garage-turned Hangout Zone. Inside you’ll find an arcade game, a stunning live-edge bar, plenty of seating, and a cozy wood-burning fireplace. It is the perfect spot for kids, teens, and adults to relax, laugh, and stay up far too late.
Step outside and you’ll discover a large deck, a grill, and an outdoor firepit waiting for s’mores, stories, and star-filled nights. With boat parking available, lake days are simple and stress-free.
And when adventure calls, you are just minutes from Seven Points Recreation Area and the legendary Allegrippis Trail System, one of the top mountain biking destinations in the country.
Maple Station is not just a place to stay. It is where generations gather. Where stories are told. And where Raystown memories are made.

Wonderful property ! Great location for our event at the Grier school.
Property management easily contacted and super helpful.
The house was cozy, clean and suited us perfectly. We had enough space and room. We would definitely recommend staying at this property.
Thank you
Aunt Susies were great to work with and very responsive. We enjoyed the quaint village atmosphere and history of the property location. The outdoor space was great and the fire pit was enjoyed by all.
The property is perfect for a family or friends get away. With 5 bedrooms, it was a great for each of the people in our group to have a private space. The living room was a great size with plenty of seating for everyone. The owner was super responsive to any questions that we had.
We have a group of 11 motorcycle riders who plan a yearly trip. Aunt Susie's was perfect for this years ride. I
We visited many places in the surrounding area including the Flight 93 crash site. Thank you for having us for this years ride.
The "hangout area" in the garage is very cool. We were just looking for a place to stay to go out on the lake, and ended up having just as much fun at the house Friday and Saturday night.
The home was big enough for our whole family and our dogs. Communication with the hosts was really quick and any issues we had were resolved immediately. I’d recommend bringing your own bath towels and wash cloths; the towels provided are very small and not super absorbent.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
Location not as expected
House front is directly on the street. Not a secluded setting. Only get 1 towel. Watch your step. Many offset doorways, etc. Pictures are deceiving. Special lens used for sure. Not terrible, but not as beautiful as expected for the price.
Its an old property, in a historic way. Lots of holes and opening in the kitchen cabinets, expected we would see critters but didn't. Some of the furniture was very worn and dirty. The water had a sulfur smell, maybe because it's well water. Towels were terrible, bring your own.. The inside front door handle came off. Lots of space for 2 little children and adults to dotheir own thing. Check in and out was easy.
The property was very cozy. The garage became our favorite place.
Keep in mind that it is an older home and a bit drafty downstairs. However, there are plenty of blankets, maybe bring slippers if you stay in the winter.
The only issue we had was when we arrived. I never received an email with check in instructions or the code for the door. This was resolved fairly easily.
If you appreciate quiet country location close to the lake like we do, I highly recommend this location.
The place was nice however we had a couple issues. There were dead black bugs through the hallway and on the floor in the one bedroom. The one bathroom has a nail sticking up in the floor that my father in-law snagged on and cut his foot. The main TV was broken and the second had no remotes. The AC in the living room was missing the piece to plug into the wall and wasn ’t working. We used the ceiling fan in the kitchen and had a bunch of hair/dirt fall down on the table. There was dog poop in the yard and the grill was disgusting. The company did give us a gift certificate for our next stay if we choose to book again.
Overall, we had a really nice time and the location met our needs. The game room was especially great - our families spent the evenings there eating, playing games and watching TV. The yard is big - we brought a croquet set and had a blast playing outside. We also ended up having to bring a dog last minute and there was lot of space for him to sniff and play. We had a fire in the firepit 2 nights and really enjoyed it! Communication was super fast with the host - we didn't have toilet paper upon arrival, but they brought some to us quickly. Having central air was great and the house was always comfortable. The only things worth noting are that the building is attached to a post office and the walls are really thin. We loved that everyone could have their own bedroom, but you could hear everything once someone was up. A mattress upgrade would make a huge difference - rooms are well sized, but beds are old and noisy. And would just recommend bringing your own/extra paper towels or dish towels.
We were up for a 2-day family reunion. My aunt and cousins live up the hill. Was supposed to be my wife and 3 kids and my sisters family. Sisters family got sick(back in NC) and couldn't make it and our kids all stayed at my cousins house with her kids. So it was just me and the wife in this big house! It was quite charming as an old style farmhouse. Plenty of bedrooms and they were quite nice. We actually put sheets on the couch and slept on the couches downstairs where we had our dogs. They are house trained but didn't want to get doghair upstairs for the small amount of time we were actually at the house. The couch was about as comfy as my bed back home. The unique thing is the Hesston Post Office is separate in the bottom right of the building. We were there on a Saturday/Sunday so we only heard them Sat. morning. Was actually quite funny. But they do show up at 7:30. Might not hear them if we were upstairs. My family who lives up here always wondered what the rest of this building was.The basement was really cool as an early 1900's building style. Nothing down there but seeing the hewn logs used for pilings and floor joists was cool. Plus seeing the old stacked stone footers. We didn't have time to use the 'game room'. Honestly I wasn't even aware it was included but apparently was in the garage building next door. I(husband) booked it so you know I didn't really read into the description much. Will add a few extra days next time to enjoy the house more!
We had a celebration of life get together with family and friends to honor our daughter that passed away on March 12th. Myself, 11 family members and 2 fur-kids stayed 3 days at Aunt Susies and it was beyond the perfect place for us! The home is so inviting and cozy! The amenities were spectacular and Chris was so accommodating. Anything we needed, he was on it! We will definitely be coming back for another stay! Thank you so much for making our weekend so awesome! It definitely exceeded our expectations!
This place was clean, had the rooms we needed for our family and friends, but the best part was how close it is to the Raystown Lake! The stores were minutes away as well that includes Walmart, restaurants, and gas stations. Definitely recommend this place for an unforgettable experience!
