Old school luxury but could do with a refresh

The setting and style of the architecture at this hotel was fantastic. Lovely private beach and big swimming pool. The actual hotel rooms and common areas have not been renovated in some time though. Quite a dated feel, especially in the bathroom of our hotel room. The staff were all fantastic, they are so polite and helpful and the hotel run like a well oiled machine. The tennis and Padel courts were a great addition that we used every day but the indoor and outdoor gyms could do with some modernising/updating.

The staff is amazing! The guests weren’t so friendly…likely because my fiancé and I probably don’t look like people they feel could afford to stay at the same resort they booked, but rude all the same. The staff and locals made up for it…they made us feel right at home every time we left the resort, starting with the taxi service the resort arranged for us each trip into the city.

5 star undeniably amazing. This is an excellent but very expensive property and the dining options are impeccable. We have traveled as Hyatt globalists and by far--- this could be the best we think this could be the best in CRETE. Bravo! Eleni in the dining management is stellar. Incredible. The sushi restaurant- do it. Do the half board option and for sure -- the drink option. Hands down. Love the fact very few Americans- even though I am American. Have them arrange for your transfer from airport. This is an immaculate property. Get the private pool and I think garden view for a more private.

An outstanding beach hotel with fantastic staff and service. The food is amazing, offering a delicious variety of Greek cuisine—from the famous Greek salads to fresh seafood and flavorful kebabs. It’s a great choice for an off-season luxury escape with the family. The sports facilities are top-tier, extensive, and exceptionally well maintained—including indoor and outdoor fitness gyms, as well as tennis, padel, football and basketball courts. Lastly, six stars to the entire staff—always friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay.

Even before our family of 4 arrived every interaction with the staff was professional and helpful. They coordinated a late night pick up from the airport to get us to the resort. Upon arrival we were greeted by staff that presented us with hand cleaning towels which were much appreciated and a beverage of our choice while we finished check-in before taking us to our beautiful suite. The food options and restaurants on site were fabulous and offered a variety of cuisine. We had opted for the 1/2 board option which was perfect! The store on site has everything you could imagine and my daughters found some really nice earrings at the jewelry store on site as well. Sooooo many options for activities and the daily schedule is always fun and full of options. 5 star stay - highly recommend!

Nice hotel on beach away from traffic noise etc. Smoking is allowed outside on the terrace where people are eating having their breakfast. A smoking zone away from eating area would be recommended.

Paradise on earth. Away from the hoards and busses b of tourists. Elegant. Beautiful. Amazing staffs. Great authentic dining options in and out of the hotel: real, authentic, tavernas in B near by villages. Fantastic wine and olive oil. My wife and I - 1st time in Crete, had a wonderful time.

Our stay was excellent. The staff is all so pleasant and happy. Housekeeping was so friendly and accommodating. The service in all the restaurants was above and beyond. The only part we were disappointed in was the front desk. Not as pleasant as everyone else . We felt we were a bother, except when we checked in Faye was outstanding. It was not everyone just a few that had a difficult time be friendly and smiling.

The property is beautiful, but the service is above and beyond any expectations! The reception team under the management of Mr Nikolaos Poulakis will do everything possible to make your stay comfortable and incredible. Same with dining experience - the service is impeccable. The rooms are a little small, but clean, and the beds are comfortable. Some comfy chairs and a table would be useful especially if you like to eat some of your meals in the room. There is no common areas for family time and board games. The hotel is not equipped to service disabled guests, which is quite a downfall In general, the place is very well kept and peaceful. The amenities are great and the rural area setting around the hotel makes you feel like you are in a bubble of serenity. The spa is wonderful and very welcoming. We have spent a wonderful week at this beautiful facility and enjoyed every minute of it. We will be back. We highly recommend this gem.
