The Van Gogh Suites is one of our four rooms.

The Van Gogh suite hosts a soft comfy queen size bed, its own private bathroom, smart TV, mini fridge, coffee maker, and a wonderful "Starry" feel to accommodate two people. You'll find yourself immersed in the spirit of the Dutch post-impressionist, with dreamy, starry nightscapes and swirling motifs. The Van Gogh suite is carefully crafted to represent the unmatched talent of Vincent Van Gogh. You will not be disappointed with your stay at this creative property, which also hosts an art gallery and studio next door. All four rooms are located on the second floor, sharing a hallway in our beautiful brick building, constructed in the late 1800's. Spend your time on our private patio - relaxing in the sun or under the stars.

Room was as advertised and comfortable. Great neighborhood. Only downsides were small shower and lack of desk or table area to plan next day. Host was extremely communicative and friendly.

A great option for Hermann!

The place was exactly how it is listed online. Great location, easy to access, good value. I'd recommend staying here. The only thing to note is the bed is extremely soft. I'm a little older and need a firmer mattress to sleep well.

Perfect little room!

Prime location. Clean and cute little property. Love the character of the old building and what they’ve done to it. Right next door to the cellar bar. We really enjoyed our stay. May be our new favorite in hermann!

Van Gogh

I received confirmation of my reservation from VRBO, my credit card was charged, and I received a response from the host to an inquiry. However, when we arrived the check-in person had no record of our reservation in their system. Fortunately the room was not double-booked and we were able to check in. We arrived on bicycles and they provided indoor storage for our bikes. The room was clean, although we discovered a used wash rag hanging from the shower caddy. Biggest complaint was the bed was soft and squeaky. Trust me. The battery in the HVAC remote was low, and the battery in the clock was dead. There was a very informative three ring binder of information on the property and the local area. A good addition would be instructions for the HVAC remote, which was not intuitive. The stairs and hallway were a little loud but unavoidable in such an old, quaint building. The deck immediately outside our room would have been loud on a nice evening but was not a factor as it was a cold night. Overall, we would stay here again, but there are a few tweaks that could improve the experience.

Perfect location!

My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary in Hermann and stayed here for the night. It was the perfect location! In walking distance to bars and restaurants. It had a ton of charm and the check in process was easy as can be! We will definitely stay here again!

Great spot for a quick trip to Hermann!

We loved being so close to the town center and being able to walk to multiple different restaurants, wineries, and breweries. The host was very responsive and helped resolve our one very minor issue quickly. We would stay here again!

Great Location! Central to EVERYTHING.

This is definitely a great option for lodging in Hermann. A friend and I decided to stay here due to it's low price and seemingly great location. This did not disappoint. Check in was easy and all the accommodations and necessities were available. The only complaints we had were that the bed was SO soft that it was hard to be comfortable to sleep so we tossed and turned a lot. Not a huge deal but that bed also creaked with every inch we moved. Nights were definitely hard no matter how much wine was drank. Also, it was easy to hear people in the hallway but this was kind of expected. We couldn't really hear people if everyone was in their rooms though. Overall, a great stay! Would stay again, just maybe in a different bed.
