The cottage offers an excellent base for exploring the Lizard Peninsula and West Cornwall. Falmouth (5 miles) is well worth a visit, with it's wonderful independent shops, excellent eateries, and local events including the Sea Shanty Festival in June, Falmouth Week in August and the Oyster Festival in October. Make sure to visit the award-winning Maritime Museum, positioned in a beautiful location overlooking the Quay. An enchanting walk through the picturesque Penrose Estate footpaths near Helston lead to Loe Pool, Cornwall’s largest natural freshwater lake. From there, join the coastal path to reach the popular destinations of the fishing village of Porthleven to the west or Gunwalloe Cove and Poldhu to the East. The beautiful city of Truro is within easy reach and is rich in atmosphere with its cobbled streets and breathtaking Cathedral.

Move further in to the cottage and you will find in contrast, a cosy, warm and welcoming lounge with plenty of seating where you can relax and enjoy the quiet of the cottage, or a family film together on the Freeview TV. A bright and well-equipped kitchen completes the ground floor and is perfect for cooking together. Upstairs, you have two well-sized bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with en-suites, making this an ideal space for families and couples alike.
Outside, down some granite steps, is a sheltered patio area complete with a BBQ and table and chairs, that gets the afternoon and early evening sun.
