"Super cozy cabin with heaters in every room and plenty of blankets. Nice friendly neighborhood was greeted kindly by everyone we saw walking. We also had a visit from a bear which was cool. "

"We had the loveliest stay at Alpenglow Aerie! We were two families with 5 children staying over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house is beautifully decorated and has the most spectacular views of the mountains and lake. It was the perfect place to unwind after a hike or bike ride. The added loft area was perfect for the kids and we always had a fire going in the evening. The kitchen was well appointed and had all the staples which made cooking a big Thanksgiving meal even easier. The location in Tahoma is also very nice - it’s a quiet area but you can easily get to Tahoe City or South Lake Tahoe in 30 min for shops, restaurants, bike rentals, etc. We would love to make a return trip one day! "

"Great communication with the hosts all the way through. The house is beautiful and the views are stunning! I was there with my brother, his wife and her sister. We all had a nice room to ourselves with king-size beds and our own bathroom. It was so comfortable! We really loved staying at this house! I will definitely be back! It would especially be wonderful in the summertime when we could utilize the outdoor areas and the lake itself. We were there when there was a winter storm coming through. Still, to be able to sit from any room in the house and look at the beautiful lake was wonderful!"
