The apartments are designed to ensure maximum privacy for everyone, both inside and outside.
Villa Brachfeld is located in Hellenthal, within walking distance of the town center, on a quiet street. Hellenthal is situated at the gateway to the beautiful Eifel National Park. The house is centrally located, offering cycling and hiking opportunities directly from the house. Numerous other activities are available in the immediate vicinity. The apartments are completely newly furnished (including new kitchens) and fully equipped. There is free Wi-Fi and a Smart TV (with the option to stream from your phone/tablet, so you can watch everything you're used to at home or log in to Netflix, Disney+, etc.). Free parking is available (including an indoor garage). An 11KW charging station for electric cars is available for a fee.
"Penthouse Brachfeld" (top floor, approximately 115 m² and sleeps up to 4) features a large, inviting living area with a living/seating area and wood-burning stove, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. There are two spacious bedrooms (with double beds), a bathroom with a large shower and toilet. In the hallway, there is an additional guest toilet and a utility room with a washer/dryer. Finally, there is a separate storage room. It is a wonderfully spacious apartment. There is a spacious south-facing balcony and an additional seating and dining area on the other side of the house. Ample outdoor furniture, a parasol, and a Weber BBQ are provided. There is a parking space in front of the house and a separate entrance to the apartment.
"Ferienwohnung Brachfeld" (middle floor, approximately 130 m² and suitable for a maximum of 4 adults + 2 children) features a cozy living room with a wood-burning stove, a separate dining room with a large dining table, and a large, fully equipped kitchen. A spacious hallway leads to three large bedrooms (two with double beds and one with two single beds), a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and an additional guest toilet. The dining room and hallway provide access to the spacious terrace with a dining table, lounge chairs, a Weber BBQ, etc. The large upper garden with several seating areas, a trampoline, etc. also belongs to this apartment. On the ground floor, there is a separate laundry room with a washer/dryer. There is a parking space in front of the house and the attached garage belongs to this apartment.
Because both apartments are completely separate, both inside and out, and we want our guests to enjoy the beautiful surroundings without disturbing the immediate surroundings, it is not possible to rent both apartments at the same time as a single group.
Villa Brachfeld is located in Hellenthal, within walking distance and less than 700 meters from the town center. There are several restaurants and a supermarket, including a large new Aldi, just 900 meters away.
In spring, thousands of wild daffodils bloom in Hollerath. In winter, you can enjoy the Weisser Stein winter sports area in Udenbreth. You can walk and cycle directly from the house. Several hiking trails pass by our house, and after less than 100 meters, you can walk from the cul-de-sac into nature. The Olefthalsperre reservoir is approximately 1.5 kilometers away. A 13.5-kilometer hiking and cycling trail runs around this beautiful reservoir, leading all the way to the Belgian border. You can find various hiking and cycling trails on the Hellenthal municipality website. The Wildfreigehege, just a few minutes' drive away and easily accessible via a hiking trail, offers beautiful scenery with the famous bird of prey/owl show, many other animals, and a playground.
There's plenty to discover and do in the surrounding area. A visit to Aachen, Cologne, Bonn, Koblenz, Trier, and Maastricht is highly recommended. All cities can be reached within an hour to an hour and a half by car. Or visit the wine regions of the Ahrthal or the Moselle. Other tips: Monschau, Blankenheim, and Bad Münstereifel (beautiful half-timbered villages), the Nürburgring, Phantasialand, Lake Rur, Lake Kronenburger See, the Kyllradweg, and the Vennbahn.
