「This was our favourite place to stay in Iceland. The mountain views are gorgeous and the cottage is new, modern, beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. We wished we could stay longer! We were nervous booking this because there were only a few reviews but are so happy we did. We also loved the quiet and seclusion while only a 15-20 min drive from Hvolsvöllur for groceries or dining out.」

「I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! Hosts were kind and welcoming, room was cozy and kitchenette was well equipped. They offered us welcome treats and board games were also available. I can definitely recommend to stay this place for several nights. Only thing you should be aware of is, that there’s no restaurants or shops nearby. You must bring your own food.」

「Everything at this hotel is self-service, and throughout our stay, I didn't see a single staff member. Upon arrival, there was a welcome envelope with my name on it, containing the key to our room, which made check-in simple and convenient. 「The standalone cabin was very well appointed. Great layout in a grassy meadow with picturesque views of waterfalls. The best part of this property is that you have 24/7 access to Seljanfoss waterfalls. We drove the 6 minute drive to the falls at 11:30 at night. We were able to experience the waterfalls with 10 other people! I believe the property is building a restaurant which would be a Boone since the only other food around this area is a 20 minute drive. Note there is no reception area to...
