Anniversary Trip

This was our third visit and as always we love it. The weather was perfect, flowing river with cool breezes was so calming and soothing. The beds are the most comfy of any Heber place we’ve stayed. Communication with property manager is always great. We highly recommend this place!

Perfect Cabin on the River

We loved our stay at the cabin- perfect spot right on the river. Cabin was super clean and plenty of supplies. The river and lawn were beautiful! We hope to come back sometime when the dam isn’t generating so much - water was very high and fast. Very relaxing trip for our family!!

Access to the property was quick and easy. Great view of the river from the deck and the lawn below. Very comfortable and well-stocked. Owner/manager did not interrupt our stay (as has happened in other VRBO's we've used). Facilities were very comfortable and convenient. Only minor suggestions would be replacing the Q bed with a King and maybe adding a dishwasher.

These were perfect accommodations for our 3 night stay. Rustic, on the river, actually able to access the river and catch fish. We drove over 6 hours for our stay and would do it again. Stunning views, massive trees, good fishing. We were very pleased!

My wife and I had good time at Lil Shangri-La. Good spot for wade fishing when dam not discharging. Cabin clean and well stocked. Enjoyed the fire pit. May be back.

Peace at Bailey Shoals

Great cabin to just find some peace and tranquility. Short set of stairs to sit by the Little Red River. Cabin is equipped with pretty much anything you would need and the sweet hostess left us a s’mores basket. Loved the screened in back porch. Just really cozy and comfortable. We loved the area and how easy it is to get around. If you plan to spend time in any of the rivers, make sure to check their water release schedule. It’s pretty important. Thanks Jan! We will be back!

Great place. Not the newest, but has everything one would expect or want. Very comfortable. Very positive is the spacious and accessible riverside location - no floating dock. Made it much more appealing. Only downside was neighbor who must have bought a new leaf blower and spent three hours using it on one day of our stay. Otherwise, very great stay. Recommended.

BEST PLACE EVER!!!

Everything was just as described. Very beautiful place and an awesome view. The screened in patio that overlooked the river was amazing! We spent alot of our time there. My daughters boyfriend proposed to her by the river as well this week so Lil Shangri-La will always hold some great memories for us. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!
