We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing watching the geese in the nearby ponds. The owners were very thoughtful and provided everything that we might need.

Honeymoon get away

The location was close to many different things to do. The creek was so relaxing to listen to while outside enjoying the beautiful weather. It was the perfect place for us.

Awesome stay

Beautiful cabin/property with amazing stream in the back yard. Owner was nice and cabin had everything needed for a 4 day stay.. highlight was the nature trail and the DEER!

Just what we were looking for

We rent a cabin in the mountains every Labor Day weekend. We were very pleased with this cabin and location- very clean, well maintained, and the creek was awesome. Our kids enjoyed the playhouse, playing in the creek, catching critters and fishing in the pond.

Peaceful

This was our third time staying at Blackwell Branch cabin and it definitely will not be our last. The cabin is very clean and well stocked. Jorge makes the prettiest flower arrangements. Our favorite part is sitting by the creek reading a book or lying in the hammock. The sound of the creek soothes the soul. I highly recommend Blackwell Branch to anyone who is looking to relax and destress.

The property was just as advertised, if not better. My only complaint is that we were so busy doing day trip activities that I didn't have a day to just stay at the cabin and enjoy.

Wonderful, relaxing location

The location is the perfect place to step away from the grind. The creek out the back provides a relaxing back drop. The temperature is so nice under the trees. We enjoyed the firepit by the creek. The kitchen is stocked with most any cooking items you need. Linda's hospitality is top notch. She provided a special treat with fresh strawberries, sparkling cider, crackers, and even fresh flowers. Our family highly recommends!!

Absolutely Amazing!!

From arrival to departure our family had an amazing time. The property was private, beautiful and there were many trails to enjoy, a pond for fishing and a beautiful creek. When we first arrived we were greeted by Linda and given a tour of the house. She had fresh picked flowers, a bottle of sparkling apple cider, a treat from a popular local store and even a few dog treats for our pup waiting for us. The cabin was so clean and organized and the house was stocked with everything we would need for our stay. There were so many special touches including filled bird and squirrel feeders, dry firewood, plenty of outside seating and so much more. Linda provided great communication and so much information about the surrounding area and recommended fun things to do. We loved the app too. We will look forward to visiting again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the forest! The kids had a great time splashing in the creek that runs behind the house and the older ones enjoyed canoeing and fishing in the nearby lake. Our little dog had fun swimming after the ducks in the pond ( of course she never did catch up to them). The house was very nice and neat with lots of open space, loved the wrap around porch where we had breakfast and coffee in the cool mornings. We had fun making smores in the outdoor fire pit. The little ones had a great time playing in the tree house. I can't say enough about how helpful Linda and Jorge were. Linda provided bedding and a kennel for our little dog, so even she got the special treatment. I highly recommend a stay here and hope our family can make it back next year.

Perfect in every way.

Our entire stay went so smoothly from easy communication with Linda to finding it and loving the seclusion. I can't say enough about the cleanliness of entire property. It's nice to walk in to all being ready for you. There were things to do in Hayesville, but plenty at cabin to enjoy. We needed more time to collect rocks and enjoy the stream on the side, relax to river in front of the deck. There was plenty of towells and games and anything we could possibly need. I can't say enough about what a perfect time we had at the cabin. You aren't in a rental gated community but over a bridge on a little dead end road to feel far from city life and enjoy the country. Thank you Linda for fabulous memories to take home with us. Everything was simply wonderful.

Beautiful Location

We enjoyed our time here, and we would definitely stay here again. The cabin was very well stocked with everything that you could need, and it was very clean and secure. The creek is beautiful and as their description mentioned you could hear it clearly from the house. Very relaxing and tranquil. The kids absolutely loved meandering down to the creek to throw rocks in and walk (carefully) through the water. My husband caught several fish in the pond near the house. The trail along the creek was my favorite. The surrounding area is so peaceful to drive through. The only thing I’d like to mention to other travelers not from the area is to be prepared to have little to no cell service if you do not have Verizon. Make sure before you leave the house to have your destination ready to go in your phone, because you surely won’t have service in a lot of areas. Despite this we always made it back to the house with little to no trouble.

Perfect Getaway

My wife and I recently stayed at Blackwell Branch Cabin for a quick getaway before the school year started. It was just what the doctor ordered! Linda has done a great job of making the place homey and it is well stocked with everything you may need to settle right in. The grocery store is close by and we loved sitting on the back porch with our coffee and listening to the creek gurgle by. I have to give Linda five stars as well because she always available and yet totally unobtrusive. The area itself is beautiful and you should take a walk around the pond and look for the turtle! There’s also a small airfield there and while you think it may be a distraction to the calm and peacefulness we didn’t see or hear one small plane until the last hour before we left. In fact I began watching and hoping I would actually see one land! If your thinking about booking this property I’d say just do it. You won’t be disappointed! Thanks for a great stay Linda!

Great Getaway!

A Most Memorable Stay!!

This exceeded our expectations! The cabin is such a quaint, comfortable, well-equipped home on the most gorgeous property. Honestly, the pictures are beautiful but don’t do it’s justice. The owners make you feel welcome and even left treats and goodies for our two daughters! Dog treats were left for our pups and we felt they were welcomed in the cabin. We told her which type of dogs we had and she had old towels and linens for us to use to cover their furniture which was so nice to not have to travel with and even had gates to keep our pups downstairs. The property is stunning. The creek was so fun for our girls and dogs. We walked the whole path which they keep mowed AND we saw small planes take off and land on the grass strip just beyond the water. It was truly a dream. We ate out in town but also ate in twice. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and grill worked great. I was amazed at how well the home and property was maintained. We weren’t running into spider webs or having to brush off furniture outside. It was all ready for us. The girls also loved the playhouse. Simply adorable. We really hope to be back. We rafted the Nantahala with our girls (9,11) and the drive was nice. Super cute towns all around. You won’t regret your stay here. We promise!!

Beautiful mountain hideaway

Thank you Linda and Jorge for creating such a beautiful and well-equipped place for us to stay! Very cool and relaxing during the summer heat! Enjoyed our time in the creek and fishing in the pond and watching/naming the wildlife. We had never stayed in SW NC mountains and enjoyed getting to know Hayesville and N GA was only minutes away. But I can't say enough about our hosts - they were available for any question and so generous with time and great recommendations. Hope we can come back again sometime and will recommend to others wholeheartedly.

Blackwell Branch Cabin

Weekend get-away

This was the nicest and most well stocked rental that we have ever stayed at. The owner met with us when we arrived and shared all the information that you could ever need about the property . When we arrived, there were fresh flowers and snacks for us and our pups. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and then some . The creek is steps away from the house and is so peaceful. The property is beautiful with a walking path goes along the creek and around the pond. We saw deer every day in the field across the creek and also in the lot by the cabin . I caught some pretty nice trout in the creek also ,Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing

If I could rate Blackwell cabin 10 stars I would!! This cabin is the cleanest, well stocked cabin that we have ever stayed in. All you need is clothes, food, a few toiletries and your fishing gear. They have books, puzzles, games, hammock, fireplace, firepit, all of the kitchen supplies one could ever need, the list goes on and on. Linda is a great hostess, she left the best fresh cookies, fruit, wild flowers, doggie treats and snacks for us that you could imagine. All of those extras are such a nice touch, and I for one noticed them as soon as I walked in the door. We got exactly what we went there for, lots of rest and relaxation. We fished at the pond daily, and caught some trout and many bluegill. We ventured out on the trails to take in the beautiful scenery as well. My favorite part was laying in the hammock down at the creek everyday and just taking in all the sounds of nature that surround. This is definitely our happy place and we would 💯% recommend staying here as much as possible!!!!

Ultimate relaxation

The property was absolutely amazing! The views and scenery were perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed the walking trails by the pond and the creek. Seeing and feeding the bull, cows and the donkey was great! So cute. The Cabin was beautiful and very clean and organized and had plenty of everyday items you would need. We will definitely be back. Linda and Jorge were amazing hosts and very informative.
