We arrived to a very clean cabin. A lot of times cabins can be dirty with cob webs and mice dirt, but this was very clean! Sparkling! Not a crum or dirt anywhere!! The mother doe and her two fawns greeted us as we pulled up to this quiet lake cabin. The family of turkeys also greeted us as we stepped out onto the huge deck that over looks Lake Hayden. As we walked down our private stairs to our private dock on the lake, we spent a few mins laying on the hammock. As we made our way to the dock, we stopped at the boat ramp for some chairs and inner tubes to relax on the lake. We stayed at the perfect time, not a soul was on the lake, and we didn't hear anyone close by. We didn't watch much tv, or use the wood stove, but both would've been great during those cold football winter days. We stayed downstairs in a comfortable bed, but there was also a loft up the steps with some beds we didn't use. The kitchen came stocked with everything we needed to make and serve our own meals, except for a pizza cutter. (We used a knife) 😃 Overall we are extremely glad we chose Hayden Lake over Couer D Alene, and would come back to this affordable cabin without even looking for another.
