Sunrise Cottage

Enjoy sunrise from this charming cottage with stunning ocean views. Relax in bed and listen to the calming sound of waves on the beach. This newly renovated two bedroom cottage will provide you with everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing holiday. Just a short walk will take you to the beach for a stroll.

Sunrise Cottage has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom equipped with both a shower and a bathtub, a well-equipped kitchen where you can wash the dishes while gazing at the ocean, laundry facilities, and off-street parking with a fully fenced garden. The cottage has breathtaking views of the entire Cape Coast, from the Mahia Peninsula to Cape Kidnappers. Just outside of the door you can jump on the Hawke's Bay cycle trail, which boasts 200kms of easy trails and over 50 places to taste and experience Hawke's Bay. If you'd prefer to stay closer to home, the cottage is only minutes from local gems such as Elephant Hill, Clearview Winery and Restaurant, Te Awanga Estate and Hygge Cafe.

Sunrise Cottage fits the bill
We had a lovely stay in this cottage. It was very well set out, had everything we needed. Our host was great to deal with, a very lovely lady who was so helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, the local pub was ideal. We will be back.

Amazing location
Cottage is great and as pictured. Being so close to the sea is amazing, you can lose hours sitting and watching it. Comfy beds. As mentioned the bedrooms are pretty bright in the mornings so if you like a sleep in bring an eye mask. Only thing missing is a bbq but with the takeaway across the road it's not a biggie.

Lovely stay on the beach
This is a modernized beach bach that is perfect for 3 or 4 people. The main bedroom is spacious. The kitchen is well equipped with a great view to the ocean. Best to bring an eye mask if you are keen to sleep in as the rooms are quite bright.

Lovely little cottage
Nice comfortable place to stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. On arrival the code provided for the lockbox was incorrect and a frustrating 30 minutes was spent getting the correct code. The ph number for the property manager was also incorrect and we ended up calling Bookabach support. Not a great start but we had a lovely break once we got access to the property.

Very cosy, comfortable; sea view, quiet area. Great shops & coffee cart over the road (amazing coffee). Contact the owner prior to arrival to check lockbox code as wrong one was given causing much frustration

Ocean visit between US Woman’s World Cup games
We LOvED Holly’s cottage for our between games days!! We stayed two nights and couldn’t ask for a better location! It’s a short distance to Napier yet secluded enough to enjoy some peace. We loved the convenience of the cafe for coffee across the street and the wineries so close. The Gannet’s Bar and Grill across the street is a gem! We had great fish and chips and a huge assortment of beers on tap plus we visited with locals who shared lots of information about New Zealand!! The ocean view and wave sounds make it a perfect vacation spot! Although we were traveling with adult family, It’s a great place for all ages!
