Birthday stay

Took my mom out here for her birthday and we absolutely loved our stay. The views were incredible. Beds were super comfortable and the house has a cozy vibe! The only issue I personally experienced (out of control of the owners) was a near by neighbors dog was barking until midnight. The property was clean and well kept.

A true gem for those who love solitude

We loved this place. The views were gorgeous from every single room, and it was very clean. The furniture was so comfy for relaxing in the evenings. This is not a negative at all, but the drive back to the home off the main road would be somewhat difficult this time if year in a car, since the road is muddy and pitted during the day but freezes at night. We had a 4x4 so had no issues at all. Will definitely stay again and wholeheartedly recommend.

Quiet

So impressed how clean & comfortable this unit is. While we read the check in and check out process, we took it upon ourselves to make this home ours for 3 days and hopefully left the property the way we found it. The attention to detail from kitchen, bathroom and operation of tv & fireplace were very well thought out. We were there to celebrate our daughter’s wedding and while other guests had bigger units this property reminded me when I was a kid and our old lake house. Kudos to Robin & team God bless

Home away from home!

We stayed here for a wedding we had in buena vista and it was perfect! We saw plenty of wildlife including pronghorns and some smaller deer. Sunset and sunrise was gorgeous and the colors were just to die for! If I ever come out this way again I will be booking with them again!

Spectacular Views!

This cabin has spectacular views of the surrounding mountains! The property was perfectly clean and had one of the best stocked kitchens of any place we’ve stayed. Nice to have full cable TV vs. smartTV. We enjoyed seeing deer and antelope roaming. The cabin is about 20-30 minutes from Buena Vista. Note - if you have a dog, the landscape surrounding is high desert and the vegetation is a lot of burrs and stickers you will be pulling out of dog fur for days. That aside - I do recommend the cabin. Very peaceful, very clean. AND - Robin the owner was super fast on the response time and very nice to speak with.

Tranquil Cabin

Gorgeous views of the valley. Cabin was very clean and well stocked with supplies: coffee, tea, spices, appliances and cookware. A grill was available and folding chairs. The view from the enclosed deck was serene with very comfortable chairs and a table. WiFi was good. We were in the area for our son to run The High Lonesome 100 mile run and the cabin was a very quiet spot to relax before and after the run.

Amazing Property. Photos do not do the views justice!

Only regret with this property is having to leave ☹️ walked in and felt right at home. Extremely clean and welcoming! Like a home away from home. Besides the obvious tranquility and views, we loved the exercise bike, games, movies, books, very well stocked, wash and dryer, extremely comfy beds, pillows, towels, and blankets! They thought of everything! Would love to come back and visit again! Just a quick warning- hit up the grocery stores in Buena Vista vs the market in FairPlay. You’ll save tons 😂😂

We all loved the experience! It was clean, easy to find, and the views were spectacular. Cozy cabin. My only complaint was the 4:00 check in. We left Denver early in the morning, only to discover that we had to find a place to wait.

Peaceful & Spectacular Views

We’ve stayed in MANY places in Colorado over the last few years. This is BY FAR the most peaceful with the MOST Spectacular 360 degree views. No matter where we looked it was inspiring and gorgeous. The cabin was clean and had everything we really needed. The peace and silence (except for the wind, birds and occasional chipmunk chirp) shows that the name of this home “Serenity” is perfect. We were lucky enough to be here during a blue moon and we not only got to see amazing Moon rises and sets (not yo mention spectacular sunrises and sunsets), but we also saw the Milky Way! Thank you for sharing these views and this peace with us. We had a soul-renewing stay and we will be back.

Beautiful mountain property

The rental was in a gorgeous location with panoramic views all around. It was between Fairplay and Buena Vista which gave us access to grocery stores and cute towns without all the traffic and noise. The property was very clean, great internet access, and had everything we needed for our group. We were close to mountain hikes as well which we did while we were there, including 14-ers. The owners were extremely responsive and wonderful to deal with! I would definitely stay here again!
