The Gilead Log Cabin

Built in 2022, The Gilead Log Cabin is located in Harriet, Arkansas just 3 miles from Spring Creek access and Dillard's Ferry on the Buffalo National River where you can enjoy fishing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking and more!

The Gilead Log Cabin is located just off of scenic Highway 14 down a private drive surrounded by woods and wildlife located within 20 miles of Marshall, AR and Yellville, AR where you will find many local restaurants and Marshall's own Kenda Drive-In theater! The Gilead Cabin features a covered porch encompassing two sides of the exterior and a beautiful, cozy lodge style interior with wood walls and hand crafted cabinets. Cabin includes 1 private bedroom, with a queen bed. In the living room, you will find a sleeper sofa and a 40" smart TV accessible with own personal hotspot and own username/password for use of Netflix, Hulu, etc, DVD player, and an antenna providing +/- 40 channels for viewing. The cabin is fully furnished with washer, dryer, walk in shower, full kitchen, dishwasher, coffee maker, dishes, toaster, fire pit and propane grill!

We had a great extra-long weekend at the Gilead Cabin and used it as a home base to explore the lower Buffalo River region. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We appreciate the effort put into the cabin and will recommend it to anyone we know that is visiting the area.

A very cute cabin in a very peaceful serene setting. Kitchen had everything I needed in the way of cooking supplies. Just bring your groceries. There's a grill on the deck. Stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Wifi was excellent. Wait until you see the shower! Washer and dryer on site (supplies were limited, but there were some). I saw many deer and turkey. Enjoyed a couple of spectacular thunder storms. A couple of very pleasant evenings strolling through the woods. I would book again in a heartbeat for a weekend getaway, or if i wanted access to the outdoor activities in the area. There are many to choose from.

Quiet and Secluded

This small cabin was near the main road, yet was secluded and provided a little piece of nature right outside the back door. The host was prompt in responding to questions. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had plenty of little extras such as games, movies, books, and extra blankets. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect for us

This was our first time to stay at the Gilley cabin. It was perfect for our family because there is no loft to worry about with our toddler. Everything was immaculate, and the owners were very attentive. We will be back!

Beautiful cabin in a very peaceful location. Just minutes from Dillards Ferry and Buffalo Point. I really enjoyed sitting on the porch swing drinking coffee and taking in nature.
