Step inside Bird’s Harbor Landing and follow a short hallway that opens the home like a story unfolding. Along the way, you’ll pass a convenient laundry room, a full bath, and the main-floor bedroom, complete with a queen bed, large closet, and cozy propane fireplace sitting area, perfect for guests seeking comfort and privacy. The hallway then opens into a bright, open-concept space where the kitchen, dining area, and living room flow together effortlessly, all with ocean views! The kitchen is newly renovated, and truly lovely, featuring ample counter space, modern appliances, and a central island with extra seating, ideal for casual meals or gathering with family and friends. A small nook with a desk offers a tucked-away spot to work or write with ocean light streaming in. Just beyond the dining area, features the expansive deck is complete with a propane grill, outdoor dining set, and wide views of the water framed by classic Maine pines.
The second floor offers three comfortable bedrooms and a spacious landing at the top of the stairs. The master suite is a true retreat! It features a king bed, sweeping ocean views, a newly renovated full bath, and a charming private balcony which is perfect for morning coffee or quiet sunset moments. You will also the master suite equipped with a heat pump for cooling and heating. Two additional bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements: one with a queen size bed, and the other offering a queen size and a twin bed. These two other bedrooms also each have a heat pump split for heating and cooling, and share a newly renovated full bath.
Step outside Bird’s Harbor Landing and immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Maine’s coast. Meander along the charming property paths that wind through the natural landscape and lead to rocky shorelines, or descend the old stone stairway to the water’s edge. One of the paths to the rocks offers a wonderful spot for fishing!! The large boathouse-style dock, with plenty of seating, is perfect for relaxing and taking in the spectacular harbor views. Swim from the float, launch a kayak from the shore, or simply find a quiet spot to enjoy the water and surrounding scenery. With multiple ways to access the shoreline, there are countless opportunities to explore, unwind, and make the most of this beautiful oceanfront setting.
Our dock and float are a favorite spot for enjoying the water, relaxing in the sun, and taking a swim. A swimming ladder provides easy access to the water for those who want to take a dip.
For families visiting with young children, we ask that children be closely supervised by an adult whenever they are near the water. For everyone’s safety and peace of mind, children should always wear a properly fitted life jacket when they are on or near the water, including around the dock and float. The dock and float are available for guests to enjoy. For safety and insurance reasons, boats may not be left tied to the dock or float overnight or while unattended. For guests planning to bring a motorized boat, there is a convenient boat landing located directly next to the property for launching. A nearby boat yard is also available for trailer parking if needed. Please note that the cost of trailer parking is not included in the rental rate.
