"The staff was amazing. We had to leave very early in the morning and would not be able to enjoy the breakfast. They left a note on our door saying that they put a breakfast in the fridge at the reception desk which we found and enjoyed every bite. This was so thoughtful and totally made our stay so enjoyable. This was from my first backpacking experience ever. I was thoroughly unprepared with my 40+ year old 15 pound tent from my boyfriend's grandfather but it all worked out. This was someone else's nicer and lighter tent and man did they nab a great view. Despite the rain and wind, it was definitely worth it. I love this picture because it shows just how small humans can be compared to the awesome vastness of nature. #Adventure means going out of your comfort zone and I certainly did with no regrets.
