歴史あるホテル
建物に歴史を感じることは雰囲気があっていいです。 ロケーションもいいのでホアンキエム湖周辺を歩いて観光するには最適。 オフィス街にあるので夜間はとても静かに過ごせます。

植民地時代の風合いが残る古いホテル
植民地時代の風合いを色濃く残す歴史あるホテル。 館内さほど広くなく、設備も普通のものだが、古い洋館独特の雰囲気がある。 Citi Mart(スーパーマーケット)まで徒歩15分、フォーの人気店Pho Thinまで徒歩10分。

We arrived late about 11:00 pm, but a hotel staff was tere to greet us and check us in. The room was spacious, and it had a separate sitting area. Our room also had a balcony. The breakfast was good, and there were many options ... including bacons and sausages. There was a chef preparing pho or making an egg omelet!.

A remarkably beautiful 1920 style Hotel with a lot of elegant features to admire. Staff are superbly responsive to guest needs and willing to accommodate. Unfortunately rooms are relatively small and can use some repairs. It is overall great value as an elaborate breakfast is available for small fee. Highly recommended to anyone staying in Hanoi.

Very disappointing end to an otherwise good stay.
This hotel is a solid 3 star and would have received a much better review from me were it not for the final encounter. As I had a tour for the day, I checked out leaving my baggage with the hotel. Great. After a day of touring, being rained on, sweating on a bike tour, etc, I asked if I would be able to have a shower before heading to the airport to catch my flight. I was happy to pay somethign for that given somebody woudl have to clean the shower again. I was told this was in no way possible and I would have to pay the full cost of a nights accommodation in order to use a shower for 10 minutes. I asked the receptionist if she could contact her manager to maybe make an allowance given I had stayed there for 5 nights with 2 colleagues as well as run our whole seminar in their conference facilities. She said no and was not prepared to discuss it further. So I have to continue on my 25 hour flight without a shower thanks to their immovable policies and procedures and complete unwillingness to try and find a solution. A really bad end to an otherwise decent stay. But that is the bit I will remember...

Nous avons été surclassés dans une immense chambre ! Super ! Un peu bruyant car travaux actuellement dans la rue. Mais sinon tout est bien. Le Buffet du petit déjeuner est très généreux. Les petits restaurants autour sont bien. À 10 minutes à pied du vieux quartier.

Nice location, old hotel with poor service
Hoa Binh hotel reminds one of a colonial era hotel that has fallen into disrepair. We got to the hotel around midnight and the receptionist asked for our passport which we provided. After check-in was completed, we asked for our passports back and the receptionist refused without giving a reason. Being in a foreign country, my wife and I were not ok just leaving our passports until check-out time with a random receptionist. He refused to allow us to talk to a manager and would not explain why we needed to leave our passports with him. Eventually, due to the late hour we gave in and got to our room. It was on the first floor and street facing and was super loud. You could hear the noise from the road as if the motorcycles were driving right next door. The beds were comfortable but the room was extremely tiny with very little space to move. The next morning, the manager met us and apologized for the receptionist's behavior and offered a room upgrade for our second night which we declined since we were on our way out at the time. The location was good though at the edge of the old quarter and only a 15 min walk to Hoan Kiem lake.

There was not enough water pressure to take a shower. The room was large but not well arranged and did not feel comfy at all

1st Visit to Hanoi
The Hotel is ideally located in the centre of the town. Unfortunately it isn't very English Friendly, as required in this industry. Vegetarian. Food is certainly an issue. I had booked this on Hotels.com website which published n also on its confirmatory mail to me, under the facilities mentions Free B/fast n WiFi. But, the hotel said they have not received any free b/fast condition from Hotels.com. I argued n showed them the confirmatory email but ultimately had to pay, WHICH IS VERY WRONG. I sincerely suggest Hotels.com relook at its publishing n its contract with this hotel.

Regarding to your feedback on the breakfast condition, we has been double check the vourcher hotels.com sent to us with your and there was a difference between them, we also contact immediately to hotels.com and ask them to fix the form in order to avoid any other confusion in the future. We also arranged re-training for reception staff to make sure that hotel standards and guests’ benefits will be re-highlighted up on check in regardless of the hotel reservation confirmation to agents or guests.
