Liked: Cleanliness, communication
The utensils were dirty, a lot of bugs, spider webs. I think the porch's should of been swept off and just cleaned a little better. Windows were dirty. Inside cabin was very nice and clean, except for the utensils. We will definately visit again. Thank you. Lianne
I booked this cabin as a place to stay the night after travelling three hours to a catering event. It was perfect for my daughter and I. Close to town for gas, food. Cabin was well equipped with everything we could need. Wished we stayed longer to enjoy the deck on the back and front. It was peaceful. Highly recommend this place! Open communication with owners, easy check in. Very clean!
This tiny house was perfect for my sister in law and I. We had an event in Georgetown and this location was close and easy. There were no softball games while we were there, but if there were games it would be a very different stay as it is about 10 feet from the field. For us, it was quiet and lovely. I had booked one of the other cabins that didn't have a restroom and Pamela was WONDERFUL to work with and change us to a cabin with a restroom. I would definitely stay at this property again.
The cabin was tastefully decorated. It was big enough for my 13yo son and I to stay in, but my husband would not have been comfortable at all. We were there for a family reunion.
Cabin - tastefully decorated. Furnishings were comfortable. It felt a bit cramped with the barstools, but we made it work. The Amish Queen murphy bed was nice and surprisingly very comfortable. My son claimed the futon and thought it was more comfortable than the bed.
We rented the cabin because my son wanted to fish when we weren't out visiting family/friends. The area right around the cabins will get you snagged up more often than not, but the canoes are available for those renting and they have lifejackets. We did not go out in a canoe (way too hot), so I don't know if there's a variety of sizes. We caught a few bluegill, bass, and the folks next to us caught catfish.
There was a tournament that weekend, so we tried to stay gone. The cabins are located in the foul territory outfield, but every now and again balls make their way to the cabins. We came back a bit too early and a ball hit the side of the cabin. I had parked the truck in a different spot than normal, so no harm done, but just something to be aware of - that is also noted in the rental documentation. Pamela let us know that there was a tournament scheduled as well, so multiple advisements.
Overall, we would stay here again, but we would make sure to be gone until any games on that side of the ballpark ended.
The cabin was so cute and it was very well put together, it had a rustic look. And it was very small but perfect for what we needed and wanted and I loved how it overlooked the pond. It's perfect for a little getaway for a couple! There were two other cabins right next door but it still felt very private and secluded and was very nice.
Spent Easter at my sons and not wanting to do the 4 hour drive home rented the Long Branch. We were so happy with cute, clean comfy cabin. Enjoyed the evening on the deck with a fire. Very good communication with the owner. Highly recommend.
Should have ask more about cooking, and stressed our
Ages for getting up and down steps of rock.
Cute cabin, no good access to back deck for oldies

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Location
Warning! Location is on a ball field
The cabin itself was very nice — clean, well-kept, and just like the pictures showed. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we appreciated the cozy, rustic feel of the place. That said, one important detail that wasn’t clearly mentioned in the listing is that the cabin is located right in the middle of several baseball fields. We stayed over a weekend, and starting at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, kids were out there hitting balls and warming up for games that started around 8:00 a.m. The games ran late into the evening — sometimes until 9:00 p.m. — which made it difficult to relax or sleep in if you’re hoping for a quiet getaway. Also, because the cabin is basically on the third baseline of one of the fields, there’s a real risk of foul balls hitting your vehicle. We had to park in a strange spot just to try and protect our windows from being busted out.Overall, it’s a nice place to stay — but if you’re coming for peace and quiet or to sleep in on vacation, this might not be the best fit, especially on weekends during baseball season.
Small cabin nice and every amenity met. Comfortable. Nice little area around very country and cute. Saw a bald eagle that was cool. So many amenities it is a crazy value. Very quiet and fun.
Although the cabin is right next to two others cabins with minimal parking and a baseball field immediately off to the side, it is very cute and cozy! The decor is warm and comforting and all the amenities you need are readily available. There's a nice pond to canoe in a well, which was a nice bonus! The host is fabulous and very responsive!
