"Hyggelig" mean cosy in Danish and reflects that warm, snuggly feeling where you disappear on the couch, watch the fireplace, and enjoy a hot chocolate or wine. Besides all the good stuff of Halls Gap and its surroundings, this is how you are supposed to celebrate life and enjoy its good moments.
Australia should have many more of these types of homes and ditch the harsh white lights, cold floors, and big leather, stubby-holder couches neatly surrounding the omni-present tv-set.
Big thanks to the owners who did a brilliant job!
PS: One note, It would be really customer focussed if the check-out time would have been 12pm instead of 10am. That felt as being kicked out only to entertain the local cleaner.
