"Der Gastgeber hat eine andere Ferienwohnung zur Verfügung gestellt, als die nach Bewerbung angezeigte und nach Vertrag gebuchte. Das war willkürlich und nicht den Bedingungen entsprechend. Gebucht - Unterkunft in Waldstraße 18 zur Verfügung gestellt Ferienwohnung im Platanenweg 5. Da wir bereits in Darmstadt waren und angereist sind, war eine Klärung vor Ort nicht mehr möglich. Das ist schlicht Vertragsbruch - habe ich so noch nie erlebt."

"What caught our eye about this listing was the sort of 70’s vibe it had. So cute! The hosts were very accommodating and they provided us with plenty of privacy. This listing has so much space, especially for two people. We did wish there were blinds or more drapery in the bedroom window, which is in front, for a bit more privacy for dressing. "Clean room, decent breakfast (breads, meats, cheeses, yogurts, fruit, coffee, hot chocolate, scrambled eggs and sausage). For other meals, there are a few places within a 1Km walk to grab something to eat or walk to their partner restaurant. Great hotel for a layover as there was really nothing in the area to do. Almost all cable TV stations are in German only. There are two Holiday Inn Express hotels so know the hotel's address to make sure you get the right shuttle van. Shuttle was a black van with the words, "Holiday Inn Express" written across the hood. Communication was only weak point of this stay. I had to wait several days to learn about the shuttle van schedule. To help future travelers, the Dec 2025 shuttle van information is listed here: Meeting point for the shuttle to hotel is at Terminal 1, Exit B5, on the Arrivals level (follow airport signs for hotel shuttles). Trip from the airport to the hotel is free, They pick up/drop off at Terminal 1 only (Terminal 2 is not served). You register/pay for ride back to airport at check in and it costs € 10/person . Registration is not required for ride from the airport to the hotel. Transfer to/from the airport from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. every 30 minutes, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every 60 minutes, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. every 30 minutes. Departs hotel on the hour and half hour depending on your departure time."
