The condo was amazing!! Very clean and well kept! The only down side was a few of the amenities were out for repair. But we will be staying here again for sure

There is no indoor pool, hot tub never worked. Shower curtain and dining Room chairs are covered in mold.

Was a great visit. Only problem was at the guard entrance. Gaurd did not check for our parking pass before insesting we needed to buy one.

We made the best of it.
We made the best of the weather as it raining the entire time we were there. The room was cute but shower was dirty as was some of the towels. Also, the outside pools were full of crabs! No warning and they were working on the hotels (this one and the surrounding ones) wake up us at 0839 every morning.

The property was nice beach and pools ect the room on the other hand was not. It has not been cleaned and was missing sheets, dishwasher would not open some fridge was in way, cabinets were falling off, toilet handle was broken

Plantation Dunes 7/2020
Getting to the rental was very easy. Unfortunately I had to dig through multiple emails to find the entry code into our room. Once inside we found the floors seemed a little dirty when walking without shoes and the blanket on the bed seemed to have sand on it. The bathroom was ok, but a very dated tub/shower combo needed some new hardware. Kitchen was very nice, although we didn't cook, just used the refrigerator since we only stayed one night. Overall, it was a decent place to stay if you wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores.

Disappointed
The A/C was not working upon arrival. The phone contacts were backed up on hold and the management numbers posted in the room are out dated. The information card with dummy. I went to the guard house for a contact, and it was fixed within an hour. The room smelled horrible. The drains were clogged in the laboratory and the kitchen sink. The bathroom had a horrible smell over bleached too. One kitchen chair was stained from mold. The ceilings were dirty and poorly painted.The drapes are filthy on the reverse side for the bunks and the sliding glass door.It looked like coffee or some kind of liquid substance was spilled all over them. A broom was provided, it was full of caked on dirt and hair. We brought our own Clorox wipes anyway. I went through the process of wiping down areas in the room. The Sassy Bass grill was good to have on the ground level, access to the outside pool was convenient safe and clean. The front lobby is a very clean nicely furnished. I will not stay at any Vacasa properties again. Hotel.com was who I booked though, we're helpful, however, they had a problem contacting Vacasa also.

Property was very clean my kids loved the pool. Highly recommend this place for a family looking to spend a nice vacation at this location. Beach access was great.

Bad experience
Booked the trip, it’s through a 3rd party, so I had to confirm my identity to a company who said I got my birthdate wrong and cancelled confirmation, customer service said it was having too long of a wait so it just wasn’t gonna answer. Hotels.com managed to fix it and confirm the booking. Upon arrival the A/C was broken so we had to wait in the room until it was finally fixed at 11 pm. Trash from previous guests was in the room, hair was in the shower, and the sheets had stains. The twin bed frames were both broken as well. Also one of the elevators in the building was broken, leaving only 1 for 9 floors worth of guests to move luggage up and down.

Two night stay for fishing trip.
Good location and easy walk to the beach, great fishing right off the surf. It's not a high end place like Kiva Dunes next door, but it was exactly what I needed to serve as a home base for two days of off-shore fishing out of Fort Morgan.

Great location
Super location, room & a/c but the wifi is very weak. In fact, we couldnt watch tv in the evening because the wifi band was too weak to operate the tv streamimg. For the price, that was disappointing, but the location was good indeed. The communication from hotels.com was woeful. We made decisions & spent money that had we had accurate info, we wouldnt have done. There needs to be clearer info for checkin process & ammenities. Apparently, there IS an umbrella & 2 chairs w/ this unit...contrary to what we were specifically told. And, you can rent double chaise w/ umbrella for $40/day if you wish. Bring flip flops because the sand is hot in afternoon & the boardwalk walkway even more so! We loved the proximity to the beach & the unit & beach were very clean.

Two lane road for about 12 miles to get to facility. Fees for tax and parking at door a little much. Facilities in general were great. Beach had dunes in it to. Could walk out a good ways. The shower to wash off sand was terrible. Please let me know if that changes. Sassy Bass restaurant there. Several pools around. Tennis and Golf available.

Outdated and dirty
I would give this room 1 star and only because of the view. In need of major updating and cleaning. Appliances were very outdated. Paint & wallpaper was chipping off the walls. Smudges, dirt and splatters on the walls/doors. Food stuck to the curtains. Headboard was broken. Dirty socks and empty water bottles found under the bed. I could go on and on .. if it would’ve been possible to cancel our reservation upon arriving I would’ve done just that.

My husband and I decided to come explore Gulf Shores for the first time for our babymoon. We just needed a small, affordable place close to the beach. This condo blew us away! It was a fully furnished with every amenity we could want, adorably decorated, super clean and tidy. Being unfamiliar with the area, we didn't really know where in the building it was situated when we reserved it, but when we opened the balcony door we were facing the ocean. Literally steps away! For the amazing price, we couldn't believe it. There were plenty of chairs set up on the beach, along with umbrellas. It never got too crowded, but may have been due to our timing. There was an awesome little restaurant on the ground floor, Sassy Bass. They had nice food choices, drinks, their specialty donuts (the orange cream one..OMG!) There were pools on the property, both outside and one inside. There were also tennis courts and other amenities, but we didn't use any of those. I am so happy we chose this place and we already want to come back. I had never booked through Vacasa before either, so I actually booked through my trusty Expedia account.
