The landlady was brilliant. Made herself available, was efficient, friendly and very helpful. The room itself wasn’t that clean. We had an issue with the shower ( dealt with promptly by the landlady). We would have liked a bedside table and lamps.

Nice, budget hotel. If you can't afford staying in Whitby, this is the best option. Clean comfortable rooms with excellent bedding.

18-30 nights
Old fashioned club music till midnight. Had to open window to let the music out. Should have left after first night really. Very busy pub. Didn’t have food. No breakfast offered. Room fine and very clean. Kettle, coffee and tea.

Cheap u get what u pay for
Hotel is within a pub and i think that takes preference. Hotel room small but functional. Main issue was noise at night as room near outside bar area. If you want place with a friendly service feel this isnt for u if need somewhere cheap and cheerful and you have earugs its fine. I needed to park round corner as no real parking on site for no. Of rooms, but it was safe.

Shower far too small and only with overhead drenching shower made life harder than it should be! Car park almost impossible to navigate and only exit was by reversing into main road Breakfast v good and room otherwise clean and warm

Poor Hotel
Service was fine and people were nice but not a comfortable night stay, beds are hard as nails. And duvet looked a bit mucky. The worst thing was there was no hot water from shower, just pure cold. I find it hard to stay much nice about it unfortunately. Was ok for a bed for the night, nothing special. Feel disappointed.

Avoid the Fox .
No toliet in room , seperate loo that broke on 1st day . Manager was informed and was still not fixed for the 3 days of my stay . Had to use loo in pub downstairs , which had no loo rolls replaced in 3 days . No tea cups with kettle in room . No glass by wash basin for cleaning teeth . Breakfast was not included in nightly rate . And it tasted like cardboard .

Needs a good clean although thebed aaz clean and good firm mattress the service left a lot to be desired well over priced for what it is won’t be returning unfortunately

Hot tap was loose could not use , just a small cooked breakfast no cereal jam fruit or pastries Had to park in local car park cost me £8:00 did not offer to pay , woken up by doors banging ,breakfast has to be pre ordered and you have to give a time you want to eat . Not the best b and b i have stayed in .

Initial room too small, but the staff very kindly gave us a larger room. Too close to main road, so noisy. Shower Luke warm and hot tap in wash basin very loosely connected. However conveniently located c,one to town.

Lovely helpful staff, rooms recently refurbished.
Lovely room but let down by super hard bed I hardly slept I was so uncomfortable. Plug socket not attached and loo seat had too much play in it. Staff very helpful and accomodating very friendly. Room quite clean and nicely decorated. Would love to stay again if bed was better. Thank you

Close to running event
Apart from the room being freezing when I arrived, I was assured the heating was on a timer and it would heat up, and the bed being the softest thing I’ve ever tried to sleep on, the stay went smoothly. Breakfast was exactly what I’d asked for and filled me up nicely. There was a band playing on the night of my stay too.

Weekend Stay
Hotel convenient for the town center. Rooms a little tired but fine for our visit. Good band on Saturday night BeerPigs but not good if you wanted an early night.
